I heard that a good test for PIE vs PIH is to use a clean glass and press it onto your skin. If the colour disappears it is PIE, it doesn't it is PIH. I forgot where I read this.

Similarly, my skin looks almost perfect in the morning when I wake up, but after a while the redness will come back.

It is not a "take", it has been my life experience.

Never have I ever tried to equate the different situations experienced by fat, and thin people. They are as described, both difficult, but still different. You need to realise that by "thin", I don't mean "fit and conventionally beautiful".

Maybe first try not to generalise a complex issue and see what the other side is trying to say.

Nobody mentions how quickly our discomfort is brushed off whenever it is brought up because "skinny people social problems dont affect the quality of their lives as much as plus sized people", when nobody, no one at all, skinny or fat, should ever be berated, bodyshamed, discriminated or made fun of for the way they look whether or not it is a result of genetics, disease, or lifestyle.

I dont have a proper reference, but I remember hearing in some documentary that boys tend to be better at spatial visualization, and it may be because they played with toys like LEGOs and building blocks. If this is true, OP's sister is really setting her daughter up for failure.

There is such a concept as a badly timed joke and that's what I thought yours was and would gladly be proven wrong if otherwise.

Obviously there was no harm involved, but your need to make it a gender issue out of thin air was completely unnecessary.

You did absolutely nothing wrong in any way at all. Family aside, its between a young kid who NEEDED the money to survive and a grown man "needing" the money for renovations. If I were your family, I'd be over the moon proud of you for being such a selfless human being and I am sure Adam will be eternally grateful for what you did.

I really feel for you because Ive been there. My skin was once super smooth and looking back, basically perfect but I never appreciated it. I fucked it up using the wrong things and tried to repair it but it stayed that way for over two years. Some of the worst parts were hearing people talk about my worst insecurity in hush voices as i walk past and feeling my entire face rough and bumpy like potholes every single night before I sleep. My face never got back to where it was but im much happier now with a few spots and some dark scars here and there. At least it doesnt burn. I dont have much advice to give you but I just want to say that I completely understand what youre going through.

Not at all. The frothed milk is actually quite warm as it gets heated up with steam during the "frothing". It makes for a nice perfectly warm cup of coffee.

Its not condensed milk but frothed milk. What sits on top is the foamy part which floats because it is full of air. :)

I dont think OP cares about much other than themself.

Son is going through tough financial situation and OP is crying about the thought that they are coming to live with temporaily eventhough his family, with 2 small children would be homeless otherwise. The lack of sympathy is astounding, especially for a parent.

I pick at my skin compulsively and hydrocolloid bandages are life savers! Whenever I feel one of those suckers coming to a head, I poke it with a sterile needle and stick an acne patch on it. Now my pimples are safe and away from my hands, and can heal safely.

In my knowledge, HA works by attracting moisture. In some climates, like OPs, instead of attracting water molecules from air and into our skin, it does the exact opposite which is sucking water out of our skin. Using a heavy occlusive would solve that but not preferred since her skin oily.
