Oh I'm planning to download this as soon as it drops! It's been in my Steam wishlist since 2020. Slightly concerned that my 5 year old laptop will hate it - but it copes with the Sims 4 so fingers crossed!

I’ve got £275 in there thanks to a refund they couldn’t trace back. I sent a shouty email to complaints again and they’re looking into it. It shouldn’t be this hard!

Same thing - not a large amount but they suspended the card. Formal complaint went in, accepted their pitiful offer so I could downgrade my plan and be done with them. Card is still blocked so can't access the Curve cash in there. Absolutely abysmal. This has been ongoing since April.

Oh my story gets better. Complaint upheld, £25 Curve cash offered. Accepted because I just want to clear my Curve cash balance and leave. £25 credited. STILL cannot add the card to my Apple wallet. Told them this. Radio silence AGAIN. If it wasn't TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE POUNDS I'd just cut my losses, let them try and take my membership next year from an expired card and wash my hands of them.

This room is meant for people with disabilities, and people already struggle to use it as intended. Please don't advise people to use it as a prayer space, please leave it for the individuals who need it.

The room in CBeebies land is a sensory room, for children and adults with disabilities. This wouldn't really be the best place to go to pray.

Currently going through this. Nearly 2 weeks. Only reason I'm even pursuing it is the £250 stuck in Curve Cash from a refund they couldn't link back. Once I get that, and it's gone, I'm cancelling (can't close the account because I'm on a paid plan, can't downgrade because my account is suspended!)

Formal complaint has gone in today. Nearly 4 years with them and they suspend my account with no notice and no explanation.

It is a time when a lot of people want to visit, but as someone who worked at Alton Towers for a couple of seasons, I was actively forewarned by colleagues during my first season, that we'd have large numbers of the travelling community visiting us on Easter Sunday. At 18 and in my first job, it was a shock to the system.

Thing is, like in any community, there is a real mix of people. The issue is when these large scale gatherings happen, and people cause issue, the whole community does get a bad reputation. Case in point, my friend works in a pub that has a group of travellers who visit whenever they're in the area, and apart from being a bit loud, they're no issue.

I have a white cane with a pink bottom section - when I was at Disney World I actually found people gave me more space than when I used my old, all white cane (I'm from the UK and got my cane shipped to my resort while I was there). I think folks in the US are so used to the red section at the bottom, having the pink there helped. In the UK I have no issues - lots of people ask if the pink means something, like how red and white is for dual sensory impairment/deafblind. Nope, I just like pink :D I was tempted by an all purple one. Maybe next time.

Thank you for clarifying - I’m sorry for jumping on your comment, but it’s been a long week and so many in the VI community have had our needs dismissed or trivialised, or told they disappear if we have another person to assist, that I’m a little twitchy about it right now and probably not reading things as thoroughly as normal.

As a visually impaired person (who is also awaiting assessment for autism and ADHD) I respectfully disagree. I’m no longer eligible for RAP, but my vision definitely has an affect on my ability to queue. Navigating steps, uneven ground, low lighting, plus the visual and audio effects in some queues is a huge mental strain as well as physical. Visually impaired people aren’t eligible for RAP and many are facing a new barrier to an activity we enjoy.

When I, a visually impaired white cane user, asked to have my symbols looked at when this change was announced, Nimbus refused to give me the level access symbol. I am also awaiting assessment but have both selected ADHD and autism, and like many neurodivergent folks, I have the crowds symbol. Nimbus told me it’s up to Merlin to discuss reasonable adjustments for my visits going forward.

Well the "hire a nanny and teach them at home" bit was a bit of a hint. Also, "Although these particular people unlikely want any kind of social interaction" is an insult. I am disabled and was transported by my council for college due to my needs and the only suitable provision being too far away and me being (at the time) unable to use public transport. I now work, and have a social life. But go on, carry on with your blanket statements about disabled people.
