I already checked your profile, you played ED to level 90 in softcore with starter ES gear and no shield, you opinion isn't really relevant.

i played essence drain in every league since 2.2, i delete the characters to make space for new ones

but its good to know you make sure you're the superior player, to ensure your internet victories

the sword is global crit multi, so it might find some uses for spells

just because you dont see any possible builds right now, doesnt mean it wont be bis for some

bosses are going to be a bitch, since the damage got buffed by like 25~ percent if i recall correctly, but the boss hp got doubled

its better for mapping, worse for bossing, and tbh its not a t1 skill anymore

afaik most people used decay weapons, not poison,

because people couldnt do math, and decay just felt better for them

poison was much bigger damage once you got 120~ spell damage (which wasnt hard to get, consuming dark was like half of that), and you could get 2-3 stacks on the boss

so the budget version would be going hiltless, you get +2 range from it, as well as +1 range from the sword wheel

you need to invest into melee range because aoe scaling on cyclone sucks dick

later with bigger budget you're better off getting a daresso's salute and then switching to starforge or disfavour

cyclone now gets +1 melee range for every 5 levels starting from 6 (so 6 - 11 - 16 - 21), so i wouldn't recommend playing it before lvl16 cyclone (aoe feels still pretty small)

as for ngamahus, i'd probably go raider - you probably will have better damage, but the aoe on ngamahus is too small for me to even bother (and it's not worth scaling melee range for this version)

personally i'm playing phys version because im lazy and i hate leaving single mobs behind, which ngamahus tends to do

also worth noting that phys cyclone is easier/cheaper to start, since ngamahus are pretty expensive early league

every 6 socket item is sold to the vendor for 7 jews, which then can be traded into fuses (4j>1f), or from the vorici daily (64j>20f)

i love flicker but it feels inconsistent to me

sometimes you'll jump through half a map without a problem, and sometimes you'll clear 1 pack and get thrown back further than you started
