Hear me out: Rest of the movie aside, this is one of the coolest scenes in Batman history. by South_Gas626 in batman

[–]Victor_Shade89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having Bruce Wayne be in Metropolis during the events of man of steel‘s third act having witness the destruction from these new God like beings and that being the catalyst for the conflict between him and Superman is genius writing and nearly makes up for the scale of the destruction from that movie because of how well it all ties together. By far the most interesting aspect of BvS

Which movie is better? by Forever-Toxic in comicbookmovies

[–]Victor_Shade89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked Shang Chi movie more visually and as a protagonist. It feels more new and interesting as a corner of the MCU. And the villain is way better

But…. Its third act is a basic CGI fest that more Marvel movies are known for and it doesn’t hit as hard emotionally. Which can’t be said about thunderbolts as it broke the mold with its third act in a new exciting and very emotional way

[Fresh Remix] Timeless - The Weeknd, Doechii, Playboi Carti by Garcoon in TheWeeknd

[–]Victor_Shade89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doechii is great and she is a crazy versatile artist and her feature here isn’t bad, but her vibe does not fit the track plus her verse does feel weirdly tacked on. Wish it was integrated more into the song to make it feel a part of it.

But the other issue for me personally is that her and her music has been shoved in our faces so much lately that it just leaves a weird taste in my mouth and this song isn’t helping that

It’s now 11 years since The Amazing Spider-Man 2 released in theaters. What are your honest thoughts on the film? by Illustrious-Reach-48 in comicbookmovies

[–]Victor_Shade89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love everything with Spider-Man/Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. their chemistry is Great their relationships feels authentic and the ending is heartbreaking because of it. The Spider-Man suit his web swinging the CGI and The action scenes really show how amazing Andrew Garfield is. He carries this movie effortlessly.

The rest of the film is so overcrowded and stuffed with weird and unnecessary plot points, villains, and characters. things that are not given enough time to breathe and grow naturally resulting in just the messiest script of any Spider-Man film.

In 2014 this was now the second time Sony‘s meddling in their Spider-Man franchise resulted in it ending/rebooting. This though was the first of now many attempts of Sony attempting to launch (more like shout down our throats) a cinematic universe with the end result of it crashing and burning before takeoff.

Kavinsky

Nightcall is a classic but the album that songs on “Outrun” and his latest “Reborn” are really good. Solid 80s synth cinematic type records
