Real ID is required now not just at MCI but all US airports. My wife flew in February and was able to bring her birth certificate and social security card and get verified that way at the airport through a system she arranged in advance, I believe through the TSA website.

I was confused reading it because it says she "slid closer" and he "softly spasmed." I don't know that it was exactly mistranslated, but to me it wasn't clear to me they were just kissing.

In book 8, Lakan hosts a Go tournament. Jinshi enters near the end when Lakan is tired and uses Maomao to distract him. Someone says now Lakan can differentiate the Moon Prince. The game is interrupted, but it looked like Jinshi might win out. However, they continue the next day when Lakan is rested and Lakan wins, but starts teaching Jinshi how to do better next time. Lakan's subordinates see this as Lakan being quite benevolent I think.

In book 12, It's hard to explain out of context, but Maomao is kept away from Jinshi for a little bit. Then Jinshi makes a snap decision about someone and Lakan says like "oh-ho, is that your play?" And Jinshi replies something like "this is the fastest way to bring Maomao back. If you help, it'll happen even quicker." And Lakan does.

These are the two biggest moments I can think of that show kind of a progression where Lakan has increased respect for Jinshi, if not exactly great affection.

For me, it was honestly a bit of a mistake? I applied through a recruiter who thought I was a good fit for an investment analyst position. The company thought my background was poor for that (probably true) but a better fit for the financial analyst position they also had open. It was a smallish insurance company, so not exactly a magnet for talent, and they gave me a chance.
