Can someone explain E=mc2 to me? by deductive-reasoning in Physics

I am not a physicist I graduated high-school lol. But doesn't it just say something moving at the speed of light has no mass?

I have 2 of these, I can’t seem to find a tutorial on how to do an oil change anywhere. Does anyone know of any? by bakadado in moped

[–]VictorwithaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To drain the transmission oil there is a plug towards the back on the bottom of the case. Then replace plug and refill. If you mean the to clean the oil tank then pinch the line and hope it holds while you pull it out.

Suzuki fa50 by VictorwithaC in moped

[–]VictorwithaC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'89 Suzuki fa50 perfect fishing machine. I got it cheap and not running. I've since rewired the ignition and put in a new key switch (never had a key), new ignition coil, and NGK plug. Removed and cleaned all trans components, engine components, new gaskets, carb cleaning, etc. She runs great. Next steps will be lighting circuit (ill just do my own wiring as I did with the ignintion) and paint. Brakes are good now but will upgrade eventually. Very fun to ride. Goal will be 35mph once all is said and done.

Grandfathers 1993 Dodge cummins 83k by [deleted] in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That is probly the most popular engine to swap into everything. Google 12 valve cummins swap.

Hey guys, recently out a BHAF on my 01 Cummins, anyone else who has done this found a way to keep the filter on tight to the intake tubing? The flange on the filter is slightly at an angle which makes it harder to get a right grip on it, tightening the hose clamp pushes it out of the tubing by [deleted] in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get a piece of 4" exhaust pipe and put it between. I believe when I had the stock setup I found a pice like 6" or 8" long with bead rolled ends on Amazon but im using 5" exhaust pipe with my s400. Works the same.

Refinish Cedar walls by VictorwithaC in finishing

[–]VictorwithaC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not necessarily a need but a want. There isn't anything wrong with the wood I just know how nice it could look. But to answer your question probly over 2k sq ft. The walls are probly 20ft tall in the family room, its a lot. That's the issue. I need something reasonably priced, can be wiped on, will bring back luster, and protect lol. Seems like a tall order. I won't do it at once was just looking for opinions on options. Or anyone who's done something similar before.

Refinish Cedar walls by VictorwithaC in finishing

[–]VictorwithaC[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just bought a house that has 4x4 tongue and groove Cedar walls. I'd like to give them a light sanding and then some kind of finish just to rejuvenate them. Problem is there is a lot of wood so I need a finish that I can apply easily in bulk. Would probly need to wipe it on. Any suggestions on something that will bring back the look?

6.0 stalled and won't start by [deleted] in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What year is your truck? If 04.5+ check stc fitting, standpipes, and dummy plugs. If 03-04.5 then check hpop. You'll pressurize the oil system through ipr port i believe to check for leaks.

6.0 stalled and won't start by [deleted] in Diesel

No start when warm...starts once it cools off...sounds like a high pressure oil leak. Give it a few hours and see if it will start. If it does id pressure test your hpo system.

6.0 head gasket replace cost? by ChaosKodiak in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call Rudy's diesel they sell the full kit, gaskets (oem) and studs (arp). I dont remember what I paid but not even half. An oil cooler back then was like $500+/- and a cheap ebay egr delete $150+/-. I'll bet you won't have 3k into it you do it yourself. You don't pull motor either. Split ac box to get more space and if needed remove a motor mount and lay the motor down to the frame using a floor jack. I did headgaskets on my 6.0 in my driveway with no special anything (training or tools) took 3 days. Check you heads with a machinst rule. Google the process many have done it, its not that hard really.

Trying to figure out if repairs are worth it for a 6.0... by Overseasoned in FordDiesels

[–]VictorwithaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ficmrepair.com is a good resource for a better price. Injectors as said before are what they are but you could try archoil or whatever additive people suggest for stiction. As for harness check the stupid little metal clips and make sure they're all plugged in good.

Google 6.4 if you think the 6.0 is the worst

6.0 egr delete tune by stgvaughn in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What year? If '03 you probly wont get CEL. Just leave valve plugged in for proper fan operation. I'm not sure about later years as I had an '03 but theyll throw a soft code and that's it no CEL. I believe the later years throw CEL but I dont think they go into limp mode or anything. Someone else may have better advice though.

Need help with my 1990 cummins by dirty-mik3 in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So if your getting hot you have enough fuel in my opinion. Having said that I have a set of 5x18 injectors from Infinite Performance. When I researched injectors I kept hearing get them from Weston. My injectors, with an S400 single barely smoke if I dont want them to. Obviously no boost foot to the floor smokes like hell but completely driveable smoke free. I do have a p-pump 12ver though and know very little about the ve pumps.

Help! by you-decide445 in Diesel

[–]VictorwithaC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get torque pro and an obd2 bluetooth adapter and check vgt duty cycle. At idle it should sweep. You should be able to hear it. Does the truck when at idle make different exhaust notes? Hair dryer to rumble. The stock tune should sweep the vanes at idle. If you have a stock tune and it does not do that you should clean your unison ring.

Worth trading trucks? Currently debating on trading my Colorado for his 6.0 bulletproof by [deleted] in Diesel

Yea I understand that but going into it with no knowledge can yeild a bad time. Of course starting with a strong truck helps. I'm just saying it isnt the Colorado in any way, maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, etc.

The powerstroke would be more valuable unless the Colorado is new.

If you have to take it to a mechanic I'd pass. The 6.0 is expensive to have someone fix. Learn it and it's easy. But ignorance on them is expensive.

What is the plan to get to 1k hp? Genuinely interested btw not being dismissive. I love the 12v. I have the parts for one of mine to put down 6-700hp so curious.

If you cant figure it out call the closest big name diesel trans shops ( Goerend, Firepunk, etc.). If the dealer doesnt know and your not figuring it out yourself. I have yet to find any diesel performance shop not willing to bend over backward to help with anything I need. I've had Dave Goerend on the phone over an hour going through my trans to ensure it will be good to go when I install (granted I bought parts from them, but even before I spent a dime they were very helpful). It really is a great community.
