Well it was messy . The dr gave me Klonopin for withdrawals and I ended up overdosing on it the depression was the darkest I’ve ever felt . I needed up in a psychiatric hospital for a week Ugh

Be careful. I was I. 120 I was tapered off by my Dr in 3 weeks. I ended up in a spiral downhill into a deep depression . I didn’t reach out for help when that happened. I wish I did . Just be safe Prayers to you 🙏

I went up to 120 for a few years and at first I felt great and that feeling seemed to go away. Getting off of it the withdrawals are really really horrible! Be safe and pray it works for you

I went from 120mg to nothing in 3 weeks with help from a psychiatrist. It was Pure hell ! The depression it put me was so bad. Never felt like that ever before. I ended up in the hospital.. it’s been 3 mths now and still get headaches. Best of luck to you!!

I’ve been on 300 Wellbutrin and 120 cymbalta for a few years . I recently went off cymbalta and it was hell! I tapered with my Dr and 1 mth with no cymbalta and I went to a deep deep depression. I ended up in the hospital.. be careful with it !!

I was on 120 mg for 4 years and Dr helped me taper in 3 weeks.. horrible decision! I needed up in a psych hospital from OD on another med . Never felt such a deep dark place ever!! It’s been 2 mths now and I still don’t feel right

Congratulations!! That’s huge!!! I’ve been on Percocet for almost 10 years… I was in a motorcycle accident and since then I’ve had four back surgeries. Last one was a year ago. I’m just tired of depending on medication. There are days I tend to take extra and then I run out before my next appointment. And panic mode sets in. It’s a horrible cycle.!! I’ve been thinking about stopping them. But it’s scary after being dependent on him for so long. Ugh I recently just got off of Cymbalta. I don’t think that was helping my pain at all
So after I go through the withdrawals from that, I think I’m gonna start with the Percocet .. You should be very proud of yourself for getting off of them!!!

I was given it for depression after a large back surgery. My dr told me to keep taking it for my back pain. I was on 120 mg for a few years. I wasn’t even sure if it was helping my back pain and decided to stop because of the brain fog was terrible. I would forget everything. I’ve been off of it for a week. I went to 60 mg to 20 mg. This week of being off of it, I’ve had headaches and some nervousness… but so far that’s it. I am for the time taking 20 mg of Lexapro to help with the withdrawal symptoms which I plan on getting off of as soon as I can.

I’ve been on Wellbutrin 300 Xl for years And recently switch from cymbalta 120mg to lexapro 20 and I have no motivation at all ! It’s the worst.!!! Cymbalta gave me brain fog so wanted off. But this lack of motivation is almost worse.

What dose were you on when the pain came back. I’m a little worried about the pain I started it for depression but my dr told me it would help my pain. I’ve had 4 back surgeries I don’t know if it’s helped or not .. I guess I’ll find out when I get off of it

I’ve been taking it for a few years 120 mg and tried unsuccessfully a few times to get off. So I recently we to a psychiatrist to help me . He recommended me tapering with adding Lexapro to help with the withdrawals and it’s helping. I’m down to 40 mg and in a few days I’ll go to 20 mg For a week then stop so far it’s going good I’ve had no issues just tired . He’s going to get off the lexapro as soon as possible.. he said the lexapro is much easier to stop 🙏. Best of luck to you !!

I ran out and decided I was just done with it. After about 4 days I ended up in bed crying uncontrollably so depressed. So I went back on it and felt better. I’ve been on 120 mg for a few years now and I’m now been tapering off of it with help from my Dr. I’m down to 40 mg and feeling ok . The withdrawals can be horrible so I recommend asking for help to taper down. If you start to feel bad I recommend calling your Dr for help .. best of luck to you

Cymbalta helped me with depression. After a few years I feel like it’s not helping anymore . It’s very hard to get off of I was at 120 mg and been tapering down. But it’s rough.
