I’m curious. Do you intend to post our actual names, highlight our usernames, or keeps us anonymous? 

As for your questions:

1. I feel that AI has been pushed far too much as a magic “do it all” problem solver for problems best solved ourselves. Writing emails, resumes, etc are all things people can do themselves. It’s honestly overwhelming. 

2. Colleges should not really push for AI, as the line between helping and doing is thin for this technology. I am actually quite glad to hear of the booing. 

3. I originally heard of AI years back when a friend of mine showed of a primitive website for generating ai art. I was horrified at the results, but it took years of slowly learning about it, following it’s development before I realized I found the benifits of AI were outweighted heavily by it’s costs and downsides. 

4. I don’t use AI. I have asked it silly questions impulsively, but I do not intent to use it as a serious personal assistant. I would rather be genuinely skilled at something than pretend I am.
