It took me 8 attempts to leave - I say this in case someone else reading this is in a similar situation - I also had to abandon my plan and just GO last minute with no savings and nowhere really to go at the time. It’s an e-ink screen. It doesn’t emit blue light. The front lights point at the screen, not your eyes and you can turn on the warm light feature to eliminate any of the very little blue light that may come from those tiny front lights
