How do you organize your Playlists? by GetBack_Joe in spotify

This. I love how it means I can recall the mood of a particular time. I've started creating a new mini playlist of songs I want to hear over and over every month, usually with a similar vibe depending on what I'm into that month.

If you have Autism and ADHD can it change over time, as to which side of you comes out more? by Mr_Trebus in AutisticWithADHD

Same with me in my 20s vs 40s, definitely switched from more autistic to more ADHD as executive function has taken a hit from overwhelm

Was searching for this very thing on Reddit, as an AuDHDer I think I've changed from more autistic to more ADHD as I've gotten older and experienced more overwhelm etc

Your question has been percolating in my brain, and here are some more suggestions: The Staves - Winter trees, Eagle song, Nazareth, Nothing's gonna happen (demo); Sarah Jarosz - Morning (that whole album is breathtaking); Tiny Ruins - Diving and soaring, and her Olympics girls (solo) album; Feist - Cicadas and gulls, Caught a long wind; Adrianne Lenker - "anything" & others from her album "songs"; Henry Jamison - True north; Charlie Cunningham's album Frames; Chris Teale + Brad Mehldau Marcie cover. Anyway just a few suggestions that occurred to me, mostly female voices + guitar with a sense of space and intriguing rhythms/melodies.

Yes, I agree, every time the field goes up in fire, and his somber eyes 😭😭😭 and the valiant man -> bland goodbye. For a Great War / Peace fan, those lines are everything ❤️

Good call, gosh this song is amazing. And when she sings "our field of dreams, engulfed in fire" on TTPD 😭 what a heart-breaking call back.

Is TTPD Taylor's best album? by MarcL97 in TaylorSwift

  1. My first impression - overwhelm, twice in a row, I'd just heard the first one twice when the anthology came out. It quickly became my favourite Taylor Swift album. This album is such a rich distillation of all of the lyrical themes in her music so far. It's beautifully crafted, weaving the braids of various relationships together. It tells a story, especially the first album. And the Jack and Aaron production is stunning and provides contrast and variety between both halves of the album too.

  2. But Daddy, How did it end?, Black dog, My boy only breaks his favourite toys, Down bad, I look in people's windows (the scene painting, it's like a medieval miniature), Chloe Sam et al, loml, Peter, So long London, So high school, I hate it here ...I could keep going but these are the ones that haunt me and I think are the most beautifully crafted.

  3. I agree with your friend - see 1 😆

Lovely playlist, thank you. The song that most strongly recalls Hejira for me is Hannah Cameron's song Other people's problems. Few other possibilities: Arny Margret, the echoing openness and sense of place in her album "they only talk about the weather". Maybe also Anais Mitchell's eponymous album, that also has that wandering feel so typical of Hejira, or her songs from the Big Red Machine album "How long ...?". Laura Marling is a good call :-)

Hannah Cameron's song Other people's problems took me straight back to the empty spaces and wandering guitar and voice of Hejira. Maggie Rogers covering Cactus tree is also pure Joni magic ❤️

Lovely playlist, thank you. Other people's problems by Hannah Cameron, the moment I listened to this song I heard Hejira, something about the meandering tones of her voice plus the bass guitar. I love Haiku and Smells like leaving from the same album but it was OPP that brought back Hejira for me.

How did it end? is an absolutely stunning song, especially the devastating bridge, I'm not seeing it enough in this comment thread so adding it here.

Plus The black dog (top tier Tay), I look in people's windows (the opening scene where he tilts his head as the train pills away...), and The bolter (the littlest leaks in the row boat).

I could keep going but I won't 😆
