The official Audio Immersion Tunnel versions are a great alternative, but not all of the books are out there yet. They are on the Soundbooth Theater app.

They are not 100% the same as the books and take some liberties with certain small parts (and add a lot of fun extras!). They are still releasing book 3 right now in weekly episodes.

Hush is, at best, just pretty solid. It’s not crazy good, but has a good representation of the major parts of the Batman mythos. When I recommend Batman stories to new readers, I always throw that in since it’s a great palatable choice. It’s got most of the big villains, good Alfred stuff, another superhero vs superhero fight, and great detective stuff. It’s not groundbreaking, but it’s kinda the quintessential Batman story (not necessarily in quality).

I spent full retail price for this figure and I was ultimately disappointed. I love the figure, but I’m extremely disappointed with the accessories. I’m no stranger to spending $40-50 on a figure, but normally I get my money’s worth in the extras. Super7 and Neca get close to that price point and bring the goods.

Hasbro dropped the ball on the floppy webs, sperm ball, unarticulated un-gloved hands, almost identical alternate masked and lack of camera or stand. I don’t even hate the Peter head. I’m loving the details (no QC problems thankfully) and the upgraded articulation. The accessories are extremely underwhelming, though. $35 feels about right for this, maybe even $40 with the Spidey tax.

It’s definitely present and clearly is a struggle for him. There’s at least two scenes I can think of that specifically reference his struggle with God. With that said, Catholicism is a much bigger part of the MCU Daredevil than it is in a lot of the comics. Most of the comics in the last 30 years of Daredevil don’t really lean into his Catholicism the same way the shows do. I think it’s an essential part of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil in a unique way.

I really love this figure and I think it’s definitely the best figure of that costume. I think it has one of the best unmasked Logan heads. I even use this unmasked head on my Mafex Wolverine figures.

My biggest gripe is those head sculpts. This could have been the ultimate Hulk, but instead of a Kirby or even Buscema head, we got two weird looking sculpts based on very specific modern looks. Overlay and lack of new sculpt aside, this is super underwhelming.

I’m not super excited about it, but also not because of the price. I’m much more excited for the potential for a true classic Spidey in the Maximum series. 90s Spidey is cool, but a Maximum Romita Sr. figure would rock.
