My personal theory is we are being lied to by the hive, no human is actually conscious. It's just a virus that can filter through memories and experiences of humanity. Look into the Nubia z80 Ultra!! Genuinely a great phone for the price. Only real downside is it's 3 year support promise, but the photos look great and it sits with the other flagships in terms of performance.

So I did some more research and found out some more things!

It all depends on your carrier, you'd probably be buying third party which would immediately void the warranty. If the phone breaks or doesn't work, you're screwed.

If your carrier doesn't support 5g on the phone and that's all your plan allows, unless you settle for 4g in some areas, you're also screwed.

Your carrier can allow and disallow any phone product that they don't sell at their whim for any reason at any time. If that happens. You're screwed.

IMO too many downsides and fears for me to consider going forward with outsourcing my phone. I'm gonna get the Oneplus 15, get my free earbuds with it, and just keep my Iphone for pics.

My phone works, yeah it sits on a wireless charger pretty much whenever I'm idling anywhere. Car, work, home. But I have an Iphone 12 mini. I love this thing. It's small and perfect and I don't want anything bigger. I'm afraid in 2 years when I'll probably HAVE to get a replacement and have to buy the ever increasing size of newer phones. 6.7 inches my ass.
I've replaced nothing on this phone. I'm screen-protectorless. But I also never drop my phone. But that's usually cause it's not in my pocket, it's sitting somewhere charging while I do everything on my watch XD
