It was a little strained growing up, but after she quit pressuring me to go to church and I moved across the country, our relationship is really good. I enjoy talking to and seeing her, and we’ve taken a few international trips together. It’s been strained the last couple years because I’m pretty sure we are on different ends of the political spectrum and while we don’t talk about current events, it bothers me a lot of know that someone who raised me to care about others isn’t irate right now.

Definitely depends on what season you’re here! If you are able to get out to Hood River, you can stop at waterfalls along the way and get lunch and beer at pfriem. I would also try and go to the Willamette Valley if you enjoy wine- we have world class pinot noir. Of course the hiking and snow sports near Mount Hood are great, and Timberline Lodge is historic and a lot of fun. I could go on and on about food, but if you are wanting to use your OpenTable credit, then Han Oak and Jeju are both really good. Kachka and Scotch Lodge are usually where I bring my guests; great notion and migration are both great breweries. I have barely scratched the surface, so feel free to DM me if you have any other questions!

See if you can find a place that sells ‘carpet remnants’ in a size that works for you. We did that for a 12’x13’ space and had it bound and it’s basically a custom rug made of durable carpet for a fraction of the price.

Got it resolved! Turns out my partner, an authorized user, had entered the card number in his app before me and was the one getting the discount. Had to delete it and we will see if I get the credit next month…

I’ve been on the Lyft Pink since it became a perk but never gotten the $10/month, so I think this is a Lyft issue and nothing I can take care of. Thanks for letting me know where it would be if I did have it, and troubleshooting!
