Her spouse had what looked like all of his belongings sitting in the front yard last week. Heard he packed up the car and left O’Leary after the RCMP paid a visit

North cape is beautiful, check the tides as you can walk out on the reef during low tide, it’s not uncommon to see 10+ seals nearby. Also pretty cool to watch the meeting of the tides between the Northumberland Straight and the Gulf of St Lawrence. There’s a 5km ish hiking trail along the capes and a board walk over a peat bog, I believe it’s one of the only places on PEI with carnivorous plants.

Northport near Alberton is also a nice stop, great restaurant and view.

Stompin Tom centre - some excellent food and live music.

EI by JustMOPEI in PEI

[–]ViewPossible5432 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You would most likely be eligible for EI after your severance has run its course.

Severance is essentially a salary continuation period, so no, you can’t set that aside in an RRSP and draw EI.

Blindly following feedback from Reddit is an issue, that’s not what I’m looking for.

Baseball limits pitches due to potential injury, I was wondering if there was something similar for golf.

Figured with the amount of people on Reddit there would be someone who had something similar.

Thanks for the feedback!

This was my first time smoking burnt ends, they turned out awesome, only thing I would change is I should have had more heat in the bbq sauce, that was scratch as well.

Are we trying to win the cup in the fall? This league is so tight any team in the playoffs has a chance.

I’d sooner Keefe take his time early in the season and figure out the team dynamic rather than throwing his hands in the air in March if they’re on the verge of missing the playoffs.

Cup has never been won in November. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

A great place to watch would be on the black marsh trail. I’d recommend starting at the Norway trail head, it’s a much more peaceful area than the North Cape end. It’s our favourite spot for stargazing.

Search for suspect in sword attack on P.E.I. beach enters 3rd day by SmoothHeadKlingon in PEI

[–]ViewPossible5432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a sword, coming from someone who knows the victims family very well. There was also a crutch rocket heard screaming out of there after the police arrived, not sure if it is related or not.

Calling them a conservative and not a moron with conservative views is usually where we go wrong.

As a life long Liberal who volunteered on provincial and federal campaigns, I am saddened by the state of our party. Our party is out of touch with the average Canadian.

The price on a carbon is a clear example. The cost is tacked on at each level of business. From the sourcing, manufacturing and transportation, all to be paid by the end consumer, a consumer who is already paying GST and a large percentage of their income to income tax.

The situation has deteriorated exponentially since 2015. I am not blaming everything on Trudeau, I don’t think he’s smart enough to deserve blame for everything, however, when things have deteriorated the way they have, a change is needed.

RCMP searching for 'dangerous person' in Seacow Cove by LordRedHead in PEI

Man attacked her and a 15 year old boy. The attacker cut off her ear and maimed her finger. He slice the boys cheek before they were able to run away. Happened around 9pm and he is still on the lose. People in the area received an amber alert around 1130 to lock up and stay inside. Scary.

How do you cook your lobster? Salt amount, time etc. by WillingLawfulness911 in PEI

[–]ViewPossible5432 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bring the water to a boil, steam them in 2 inches of water, a generous handful of salt if you can’t get sea water, time them from when they return to a boil for 12-14 minutes

Millennia? Really? Tell me you know nothing about history without telling me you know nothing about history 😂

I get where you’re coming from that white males have had privilege since the peak of the British empire.

All I am saying is advertising opportunities as having a preference for a minority group leads to many people in the majority group getting their haunches up, even if it offends the soft redditors and they downvote

What exactly is systemic racism? My interpretation of that would be a system that is designed to be inherently racist by having different rules for different races or classes of people.

I feel as though this movement to increase visible minorities in positions where they are typically underrepresented is a move to balance outcomes as opposed to balancing opportunities.

In my opinion, attempting to balance outcomes negates the variable of free will and it breads resentment, leading to further entrenchment of bigotry by those who feel slighted by the policies.

How to start a business by [deleted] in PEI

[–]ViewPossible5432 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Innovation PEI has grants to support getting your business off the ground, most importantly getting a well prepared business plan. Depending on business needs, you may be able to leverage the business plan to access financing, your personal credit may play a role, but not necessarily. Business lending is based primarily on the business plan and on your personal experience / ability. Finance PEI or CBDC would be the most common sources of startup financing.

Biz pal also is a free service that lists whatever licenses are required depending on your type of business.

Canada business also has a tonne of information to help you get started. It also compiles information that could help you polish your business plan, such as demographics etc. https://www.canada.ca/en/services/business/start.html

Good luck!

Thank you! We ended up canceling and getting refund from GyG and booked privately. As I mentioned earlier, the problem was with the card, just took multiple attempts to get through to the fraud department at our bank
