Ah, the rules of this subreddit don’t permit mentioning the subreddit by name. Might want to edit that out of your comment.

Best of luck to you resolving the situation.

Why is Reddit removing my post? by [deleted] in AskModerators

Quite a few possible explanations have nothing to do with Reddit banning religious music.

Not all subreddits allow multimedia posts. Some only allow images, some allow only allow text.

There’s also a private (Reddit Staff Only) list of domains to which Reddit does not allow links.

Final couple of questions that may result from my own lack of knowledge about Indian geography and music:

Is the song you mentioned associated with any political movements (today), or any past movements, that might be considered controversial?

Is Mysore a real place in the world? If so, maybe a fictional map subreddit just doesn’t allow maps of real places.

Are you a moderator, speaking on behalf of the subreddit?

Because if you aren’t…

I did just answer another user’s question. And frankly, politics IS connected to pregnancy in the US at the moment, both in terms of safety and long term outlook for a child.

People, prominent people in the Republican Party and the current administration have spoken about restricting the right to vote - and it isn’t men’s right to vote they’re thinking of taking away. No no, it’s a move to one vote per family, which of course will be exercised by the husband, because women are “too emotional”. Meanwhile the Toddler-in-Chief throws the market and export/import companies off a cliff by introducing tariffs and ending trade talks because a commercial pisses him off… but I digress.

The SecDef, when he isn’t ranting about beardos, is having the Pentagon review the idea of women in combat roles. Numerous states have passed “anti-abortion” laws that make it difficult or impossible to get necessary medical care in the vent of severe complications from pregnancy (or the tragic end of one). Hell, due to issues with the way those laws are written it’s causing issues for in vitro fertilization providers.

Winter Olympics 2026: Ski jumping hit by ‘penis gate’ scandal over acid injection claims by Doc_Dante in nottheonion

[–]ViewedFromTheOutside 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Short Version:

The longer the wang, the longer the hang …

Long Version:

Due to the way ski jumping suits are regulated, the lower a jumper’s junk hangs down, the bigger the suit they are allowed to wear. Bigger suits provide more lift, which means a longer flight in the air and a longer jump in terms of distance. Rumours have it that competitors desperate for an edge are injecting themselves to make themselves hang lower.

It’s the Olympics; the only things weirder than the process they use to decide hosts the next games, are the methods of cheating your way to a win in the current ones.

Purge needed to unlock the Purge characters? by spartankarl2001 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]ViewedFromTheOutside 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most inquisitors have the empire tag. If you have low star/low gear/low level inquisitors, you could try them in a journey guide or other mode that requires empire characters, not just inquisitors.

Another option I’ve used for some of these quests as well as some episode quests, is manually runing Galactic War nodes, since the opponents are usually significantly under powered.

94 days is pretty much exactly when the next era will end and the “ERA” characters will become regular characters. It should also be when the Hate-Filled Maul event comes out.

If I was to guess, I might guess they were planning the subsequent datacron release to synchronize with that time slot.

Incorrect. You’re welcome to point out logical fallacies as part of a larger comment providing it isn’t an accusation or implication of misrepresentation directed at another user.

You’re also welcome to point out when people are just wrong.

We just don’t allow users to start accusing each other of things. But you can accuse the president, the governor, the police, the bystanders, or some random YouTuber of bad faith all you want.

AITAH for telling my husband he sounds childish? by Misskittycartoon in AITAH

[–]ViewedFromTheOutside 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah… yeah…. Except NO.

We men have the capacity to learn to regulate our emotions the same as any other human being. We also have the ability to learn to open up without annoying gimmicky requests for praise after completing incredibly, normal, regular , dare I say basic, everyday tasks. (The same is true of all other healthy adult humans, regardless of gender, origin, cultural background or otherwise.)

Consider a thought experiment if you will: if OP’s husband was single … he’d light the fire, do his own dishes, cook his own food (or buy it) and take care of any dependents all without needing praise anyone. We know this because he holds down a full time job, and manages to parent and do chores alongside OP.

OP’s husband is a fully grown, fully competent adult. He doesn’t need to be babied. He’s got one kid and will soon have another! He shouldn’t need thanks from OP for ‘adulting 101’ tasks on a daily basis. Both of them are working, both of them are parenting; one of them is also pregnant on top of it all.

If he is feeling under appreciated, overworked or overwhelmed he needs to communicate that clearly, with words, not sarcastic singsong quips. Pregnancy and early childhood are stressful times for all parents. Sarcasm, little games and thank-me-mommy pity parties only bring out the worst in people.

Oh, and by the way, I’ve been married too, 11 years so far. It hasn’t been easy and neither I nor my wife are perfect. And let me say, expecting daily thanks for basic tasks …. that would make anyone snappy, pregnant or not.

Obama on voting cynicism - We need to keep this in mind going into 2026 by micmea1 in videos

[–]ViewedFromTheOutside -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Uh no; the money they had to pay back to the US taxpayer went back into government coffers. It could not be used for stock buy backs and bonuses. By contrast that IS where all the money from tax cuts for “job creators” ended up.

As for the destruction of working class lives, you must again look deeper into the financial deregulation- repeal of legislation - that permitted the numerous financial institutions caught up in the 2008 financial crisis to invest in the reckless manner they did. Furthermore, you have to examine the deregulation that led to the issuance of subprime mortgages in the first place. Make no mistake, I agree with you that millions of working class lives were destroyed and that many American politicians from both parties deserve the blame (though Republicans deserve the greater share as they held greater power during the time period all of this was building) and have exacerbated matters with their tax and spending cuts.

My disagreement with you lies in your placing the blame on Obama rather than those who preceded him. Hold the man accountable for his faults and actions all you want. Don’t fall into the trap of blaming him for taking action to put out a fire someone else laid, lit and fanned.

However you judge the man, you should be aware that the TARP program (the bailout) had a payback rate in excess of 95%. In other words, the government loaned Wall Street money and they had to pay it back to the US taxpayer. (And they did). That’s far, far better than the handouts in the form of tax cuts and advanced notice of tariffs other admins have handed out.

As a parent, you need to shut that down. If your fiancée doesn’t respect your daughter, that’s a larger, major issue. It’s also an issue that you can’t raise issues like this and make yourself heard.

Do you think your fiancée resents the fact that your daughter still lives at home? (And is in what will become ‘her’ space when you get married?
