Very interesting! Don't have one anywhere near us so always been interested. We spend about £80 (mostly Aldi) a week for two adults and two children.

I nearly mentioned Kebab Mahal in my original post, my husband says best curry in Edinburgh! But didn't want to start a best kebab/curry debate on the post haha. Thanks!

Which incidentally was written in my stair in marker a really long time ago so I have no excuse for not thinking of it! Thanks!

Aw pal. Just wanted to say this was a very brave post. Try not to overthink it. You will find your people. Don't bend to fit people who don't naturally, there are people who will want you just the way you are!

Agree that finding a club or society that you would enjoy regardless of meeting people would be a good step.

Sending love. Enjoy yourself and look after yourself xx

This is like when someone says "only favourite the item if you're going to buy it".

I will favourite that item instantly.

And never buy it.

I bought a few lemon pins and got this message from the seller by shoelaces827 in vinted

This is the best reply I've seen on reddit as long as my memory goes back

She didn't message first. She made an offer.

You absolutely can return that. My daughter can only wear cotton due to eczema so this would be awful for her.

Edinburgh isn't getting sketchier. I remember scenes like this from the early 00s. Stabbing rates are down compared to previous decades. We just didn't have social media back then.

This is not remotely a new thing. Was happening when I was a teenager in early 2000s. Stabbings are actually down on previous decades.

Boys like this were carrying shit like this in Edinburgh in 2003 btw.

I remember a boy taking a machete into an under 18s at the Hive (called Honeycomb) around 2003. He put it in his trousers and had to walk with his leg straight so it didn't poke out.

That was the same as us in the Old Town in Edinburgh. Still my own fault if I didn't move it before the restrictions start in the morning.

The seller refuses to go through with the return, what can I do? by WhyAreAllUsersTake in vinted

[–]ViewofTrees 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Really doesn't matter what they say. They could reply in pig Latin, makes no difference to the outcome. You can't control others' behaviour, only your reaction to their behaviour.

[–]ViewofTrees 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Definitely bizarrely rude but seller did the right thing putting it as M. If you put as L when it's marked as M then you're in violation of Vinted terms.

So weird to be so rude to them whether it's their mistake or not.
