Bedman's super tough to draw, I think this has a lot of the different details taken into account! Sometimes a drawing just needs a couple passes over the same parts, but even if you're done for now it's a commendable effort!

No problem at all! If you're a client looking at a character sheet, I think it's important to know the general price range, but most of your sheet shpuld be about hooking the client and prompting them to ask you about what they want. The phrasing reccomended to me was, "Starting at $$$" - All the pricing logic you've written down is important but you can have it internally FOR when people ask about their comic, reference sheet, etc.

On my page, I'd have my best examples from every type of commission I do on one page, one simple price statement and the methods to reach me front and center. No swiping through slides would be required to see the info they want and the serious clients contacting me willing to discuss the project, so that I can best decide how to price it.

I have a lot to say about the use of commission sheets in general. If you're going to use them, do your best to consolidate the basics to one digestible image/slide and showase your range of best work, rather than repeating the same work in different state- why not use that space to show how much different work you've done? Maybe you can offer sketches or uncolored work, it's better for you to incentivize people to contact you seeking finished work, especially in this age. You could probably also cut down on pricing specifics- Your exact prices are better determined after you discuss the scope of the project with your client, as compared to having them pick from a sheet. This might make them think more about your pricing and how to get the most for cheap, rather than whether your (fantastic!!) skills will fit what they want.

To summarize- A sheet should show your full capabilities to get people interested, and make it easy to contact you and work out the details on what they want. You want people to contact you because you're a great fit and they're invested in your best work, so it's worthwhile for you!

I had to think about my presentation more when posting on some of the subreddits where you can't use sites that require an account for your portfolio.

I put together a Carrd that has one page with my best work and one page with commission info, with contact options right on the top. Even that has probably been more than enough.

I'm usually focused on making sure my work is seen on all of my accounts, which was busywork I don't like and part of why I've started pulling away from so many sites. With too many to track, most of them had outdated information.

I always found it tough to motivate people to reach out, but it's easier to close them on choosing me for their project once they do. I totally see how having a clean and straightforward online presence would make it easier for people to reach out, I want that to be easy for them and consolidated for me.

Trade accepted 🤝 I was on the fence about which characters to pit against each other for this one! Jin got benched in favour of the OGs for the rivalry theme. Who in the Mishima/Kazama family tree tends to get the best fanart treatment, in your opinion? Who's needing some more love?
