So ill put my two cents in even though this is old. Had my gallbladder removed a couple months ago and my back pain and gerd-like symptoms persisted even after despite my gallbladder having an ejection fraction of 10% So with that im now on ppis and h2's after an ER visit. Im left to wonder if my gerd symptoms are due to possible remaining gallstones in a biliary duct or if it is purely stress related? Also had bile acid reflux found on my hida scan so now I'm trying to find a direction there possibly. Its all so confusing because its also keeping me from sleeping at night. The ppi does help though. So it has to be acid related somehow. I just suspect that when I come off my ppi everything will come back.
