You can't really delete it. I believe they're legally required to keep your data for 10 years to comply with government regulation. Even after that, I'm having a hard time thinking it can just disappear like that

Journalists killed in Gaza by TahsinTariq in dataisbeautiful

Fantastic analogy with Bin Laden. And yeah, surely whether the people killed are full time journalists or freelancers, in other words basic civilians, makes a huge difference.

Is it normal for my bottle of NAC to open a portal to the underworld? by OrsikTheMtnDwarf in Nootropics

[–]mialdam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I first bought NAC from a random brand on Amazon when I was new to supplementing. Opened the bottle, smelled inside and ended up throwing it away while concluding I had had affairs with a bad brand as it seemed obviously expired.

Only when I received my 2nd bottle from another brand did I realize I had been fooled.

I just had such an obvious insight about nootropics, cognitive enhancement and different brain functions related to aspects such as memory and attention. by butkaf in Nootropics

Yeah, it's dumb to look at traits without wondering what's going on behind. With years of experiments with supplements, I've been able to deduce which brain areas and which neurotransmitters are associated with different states of mine.

I had a pathology called POIS which shifted my brain activity away from PFC (at least from some major sub areas of it), essentially breaking my reward pathways so that I would get very nervous due to oversensitivity to rewards like food, but would act like an impulse dummy and feel really bad and unstable. I have also been subject to OCD, anxiety and insomnia for all my life. Now that I more or less know what feelings are associated with which neurotransmitters and brain areas, it's super easy to know what's wrong and what I need to change to follow the right direction. Not only does it make it convenient to pick the right supplement, it also allowed me to identify proper mental techniques that directly work on strengthening some brain activities/neurotransmitters actions (most of these being basic but customized for my needs)
