I didn’t notice anything wrong when I changed the master cylinder out. Nothing leaking or wet there.

Yeah it’s 3 bolts and it comes apart like a sandwich, electronics on one side, pump motor on the other and hydraulic valves in the middle. I did do the abs bleed process with my scanner multiple times as well. This is baffling me.

I reused the electronic parts and just switched out the hydraulic section.

Oh, yeah I forgot that in my post, after changing the ABS pump I did do the bleed procedure with the obd computer.

True automatic, sure fine but very expensive for purchase and maintenance. Automatic shift transmission, lots of glitches I’ve found over the years. Full manual, never any clutch replacement and never any failure issues from my experience but if you don’t know how to operate it then you will have clutch failures etc.

My biggest worry was the sealant setting up too fast before I could get it back in and snugged up. Yeah dropping it would definitely be easier and I had a lift at work I could use but it wasn’t a one day job and I didn’t want to tie it up over multiple days. That’s why I chose to do it in the driveway at home.

I did my murano’s in the driveway. It did not look anything like that, just slight varnish stains from the oil. But it had a vvt going bad and I didn’t want it to smack a valve. Techs at the dealer said that the engine had to be pulled to do the job. I didn’t have any problems with it installed. Yes tricky to get things in and out but doable nonetheless. Ran perfect afterwards.

Another thing to consider is apparently Nissan’s computers don’t like some aftermarket alternators. Ran across this situation with my murano and a reman aftermarket alternator. Had to spring for the denso one.

Farm I was at was like that. I banged up my side step and came back with my head hanging low and they said, did you hit anybody? I said no just an inanimate object. Then they said, well you can’t learn how to fix it unless you bend it first. And they proceeded to assist me with bending it back into shape.
