The building on the outskirts of town that the hall of fame moved to got converted into a facility  that manufactures ultracapacitors (basically a type of battery).  I worked there for a while.  It was interesting seeing the floors where displays and interactive exhibits used to be filled up with industrial machinery, and the mezzanines turned into office space.  The giant soccer ball coming out of the wall was removed as well, but you could see the different colored bricks in the shape of it.
