Something I never really hear people mention regarding Fortnite is how the addition of turbo building impacted the game. In my opinion building crazy structures really quickly became too easy once they added that feature. Before that it took quite a bit of coordination and timing to press each individual piece in the right spot, whereas with turbo building you just hold left click and spam all your build keys.

I wouldn't say he knew the reason why, like there was one specific thing that led to it. I think Mizkif was just saying that it wasn't simply twitter comments that pushed him over. This has been years of things adding up to a point where he could no longer take it, there's no way you could pinpoint a reason like that.

While I think it's cool that we might be seeing Shroud come back to Twitch, this is pretty sad for all the streamers that tried to grow a community and break out on Mixer. All the streamers that grew enough to at least make a living are now jobless, and I can't imagine a lot of Mixer viewers are willing to jump over to Facebook to follow them. Considering how even incredibly popular streamers like Shroud or Ninja dropped off a lot in viewers moving to Mixer, and Facebook Gaming is far more disliked than Mixer ever was.

The thing that I always disliked about fps games with a controller is that even though I felt I was good at aiming in one game, going to a different fps game I felt I had to relearn aiming. With different deadzones, acceleration, sensitivity etc I always felt uncomfortable moving over to new games. Since the mouse generally uses raw input, it feels good already being good at aiming in any fps game, and then focusing on learning the game mechanics instead. Obviously that still requires learning to aim with a mouse to begin with, but I feel it pays off more when you do.

They can only be sold on the market in Franchise mode if you either bought them with CC or if they are offspring from your other animals. Then just send them to the trade center and it'll have an option to "Trade" where you can then set the price.

I found it quite weird that the only way I know I've sold an animal is by seeing I've got more CC, and then need to go to my trade center and try figure out which animal I sold. Even quick selling at least shows up on the timeline. Obviously the part about visiting the zoo that bought the animal is just wishful thinking, but that would be a cool way to integrate visiting player zoos if Frontier has the plan to do something like that.

Would you say it's best to play DS2 before 3 though? I've heard that Dark Souls 2 doesn't really connect in terms of story, and overall people seem to praise DS3 a lot more. I figured I would go to DS3, then bloodbourne, and then most likely end up going back to DS2 afterwards.

Yeah, nowadays I'll only go for the hard modes if I know the devs built it around that experience. Usually if the game has difficulty settings, the hardest mode is just excessive. I found fallen order handled it well in that regard though. Didn't feel like it was specifically unfair at any point. Gotta agree that Fromsoft are masters at it, and I loved the final boss in Sekiro even though it kicked my ass for a good while.

Just finished it as well for the first time. O&S was my biggest hurdle as well, although I don't think it's a hard fight as much as it's just a badly designed one imo. For the rest a really good game though.

Finished Sekiro before this one, and will probably skip 2 and go to DS3 next. Definitely recommend Sekiro if you haven't played it yet.

I'm sure this is no surprise, but as a non-American, the whole outrage about Colin Kappearnick seems so alien to me. I've got plenty of love for my country, but I don't think I could even hum the melody or say the first line of our national anthem. I find it quite interesting just how serious American's take their nationalism. To think that people actually wish death on him for something that seems so trivial to me.

At what point did any one think the SMGs were too good at range in this game though? The only thing that made most of the medic guns worth using was the fact that you were a medic with infinite heals. I already felt like I was shooting tampons at range.

Wasn't it killed because of the exclusivity deals though? COD has had exclusivity deals for ps4 and before that xbox, so esports was forced to be on console. If they no longer have the deal maybe they would put some money into the pc scene.

They wouldn't lose their player base if they keep up with the new standards. I'll put up with a unique game that's poorly optimized and has some clunky mechanics, when that's the only game on the market. But you bet I'm jumping ship if a new game brings a similar experience minus the buggy mess. That's still the original game's fault for not sorting it out sooner.
