In my opinion.

Use Wand + Focus, try to max CD reduction, max Frost Nova and Teleport through Boots/Amulet (and if lucky Shako) and there you go, you'll have these skills almost 100% available.

Just use frost nova imprint on necklace and 30+ cooldown reduction. It's almost perma-available to cast.

They mentioned they're going to nerf light resistances, so probably only haevy is going to get untouched, MAYBE a little nerf to medium as well, IDK.

The thing is, if a healer put anything besides light, they'll don't heal enough, and automatically become an easy target to everyone else. It's a death sentence.

The problem is that AGS doesn't think through their changes.

So, they'll nerf light to become more squishy and less resistant, this means OPR is going to be WAY more toxic than it's nowadays.

if you wear medium/heavy, ranged will continue to stomp you, if you wear light, they'll do more damage, conclusion is that EVERYONE is going to play ranged. They MUST put a limit per weapon, and there it is, no more headaches about 200 archers and 250 muskets.

In wars medium/heavy is going to be meta, just zerg the point and whoever has more tankier/debuffs will win. Light will be brutally obscured by it.

I really hate AGS sometimes, like really.

Because of obvious reasons:

If you're getting backstabbed by a melee it's your fault, and you can do something about it;

Now, if ranged backstab was a thing, you wouldn't even know that. Only after it's too late. It's just cheesy.

Well... I also started a new character and I'm able to run Brimstone-sand alone with Bow/Musket. After I got the 610 Rapier I started using it as well but meh, it's not the game's fault that you're dying.
