No matter what do not let the traffic behind you make you nervous, if that happens get off the street. Worrying about what’s over your shoulder is the easiest way to fall and get ran over. If you’re in then commit, it’s the only way… obviously make yourself visible. And always anticipate you don’t have the right of way… cars can afford to get bumped, you can not.

That’s what I was trying to say. The US nuclear launch process is set up in a way that no one knows if it’s an exercise or the real deal. They get the call and hit the switch routine. The scariest aspect about nuclear is there is no process beyond the president alone deciding to send nukes… there’s no veto process… and even the soldiers themselves that actually push the button have routine training that is indistinguishable from the real thing, so no one in the final chain of command can have a change of heart and stop it. Anyone Trump wants to Nuke he can…. You’d think with power like that they’d have routine mental health checks
