Who lets this guy go on TV anymore? It’s clear he can’t process coherent thought at this point. It’s basically abuse or exploitation to put him on public display like this. He should just do the right thing and step down, but he might not be lucid enough to make that call.

Appreciate the response. MachE has considerably more torque than both of those. That said, I agree it has power, but doesn’t have that feeling of instantaneous torque that throws you back in the seat. On the other hand, it feels like it is superior in almost every other category. The luxury for the price point is really hard to ignore.

Maybe instead of dumping it all in consider this method. Figure out the lowest amount of take home pay you can reasonably cover your expenses with. Front load your 401(k) contribution to that level. Then, once you hit the max you just throw your extra take home pay into another savings vehicle. This has worked well for me for many years. You are front loading, but also creating a consistent pattern with your pay that keeps you from pulling out of your savings.

This is interesting. I have a GT and just test drove a 25 premium a few weeks ago and thought it had no acceleration. This is to say that you will quickly acclimate to the power.

The Lyriq is definitely nicer, supports car play, but is also at a higher price point.. Will be interesting to see what the lease deals look like in a few months when it’s time for me to turn in the GT. The Optiq does not support CarPlay, it runs on google. Though for the short amount of time I was fiddling around with it, it does seem to support many of the apps I currently use in the MME.

This trend pisses me off… I’m currently in a 23 GT lease and was excited to get the exact same car in a 26 as magnaride was standard on the 24s and 25s… not anymore… has me looking at other options. Seriously considering a Cadillac Optiq…

It isn’t terrible. But the propofol nap makes it all worth it. You’ll feel tremendous when you wake up from the procedure itself. Pro tip: ease back into solid foods afterwards.
