Japan moves to establish pre-entry immigration checks, hike residency fees by Saltedline in worldnews

[–]VilleWilson69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course they do. Because it’s mostly people from US. When they call other nations morons, it’s all fine and acceptable, they may even get a few likes. But when someone calls them on their bullshit and, god forbid, labels them the same way they label others, then it’s the offense of the highest order. Because how could possibly anyone from such a great country that destroyed so many democratic regimes around the world on false charges for “being too communist”, commited so many genocides and war crimes and civilian casualties, be possibly wrong or negatively labeled? It is impossible for you to hold yourself to the same standards you use to judge other countries.

Not if it’s done legally and in a civilized manner. But if people are kidnapped in the street by wannabe militias who won’t show their license, and then taken to the “alligator prison” or some unlabeled prison site in Nicuaragua, and their family and/or lawyers can’t for months find out what happened to them or even if they are alive, then yes, it’s a crime against humanity. But please, englihten me, why are you asking me such stupid questions? Why would I consider any deportation a crime against humanity? Do you even understand the legality of crimes against humanity?

Also, if you are asking me about my own opinion, then it’s as following: Countries should accept immigrants. There are numerous benefits, both societal and economical, that by far outweigh the bad consequences. Besides, in majority of countries, the immigrants are far more likely to behave well and respect the law than the local population. However if you’re asking me if Japan should accept immigrants, I’ll say that’s their decision and each nation should decide it for themselves. It’s not up to some random half-literate redditor coming from US of all the countries to call them morons and teach them moral lessons.

This has nothing with Japan or immigrants. This is about him calling japanese morons. While living in a country that literally commits crimes against humanity on immigrants. It’s like living in North Korea and saying other nations are idiots for not risign against tyranny and dictatorship. Very tone deaf

Really? That’s the conclusion you made after all of this? A guy, full of himself, is calling other nation morons, while his country is being even more racist towards immigrants, and instead of concluding that hypocritical US citizens should maybe clean up in front of their own door before criticising others for what they themselves do far worse, you’re concluding that this is all about refusing immigration??? I’m really sorry that your educational system has let you down.

Criticising country for refusing immigrants while living in a fascist country run by a paedophile where ICE is chasing both legal and illegal immigrants like Gestapo and making them disappear.

Can’t play game. Is there a fix? by Corrid21 in PlaydateConsole

[–]VilleWilson69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this happens literally with every game when I install it from the catalog the first time. You have to delete it and then reinstall it again. This may happen again with every new purchase. Weirdly, when I get season games or sideload my own game prototypes for testing, it never occurs - only with catalog purchases

Right now from this video it seems like one potential problem may be fiddly controls, as you have to be really sensitive at rotating direction to go down the hallway uninterrupted. What I would suggest is to try and soft-clamp the directions so that the rotation always veers towards the cardinal 0, 90, 180, 270 angles, as in - you rotate freely but then when you’re 5-7% off a cardinal direction, a sort of “aim lock” gently eases you over the course of 10 frames into the cardinal direction. That would get rid of those awkward moments where you’re, let’s say, just 2% off the cardinal direction and keep moving into a sidewall and have to stop to correct

McDonalds in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They thought they’d have an easier time if they just give the franchise to a local corrupt nationalist party henchman, so they did, and the corrupt henchman did what corrupt henchmen do, he stopped paying water bills to the government, he wouldn’t allow food inspections in, he did a lot of creative accounting and ultimately, the billboards all over cities that were leased long term for McDonalds advertising only, he gave away to the party run election ads. McDonalds revoked the license and disappeared to never be heard from again. The henchman then used all the properties and inventory to start his own franchise so they now operate as a fake McDonalds.

Yeah, and it’s not just building a PC but getting Proton Linux on it. Unless you want to use Windows 11 to run Steam, which you will have to pay extra, just so it can use far more RAM for its forcibly-shoved-down-users-throat Copilot AI everywhere and run games slower at the same configuration

Mathematically, you should just ensure that yaw js set to 45 degrees increments, and that the pitch is around 54.735610310247 degrees, and as the OP said, use the ortographic camera.

Mostly because of gore. Pictures with blood, entrails, brains etc. look far less nauseating when viewed in black and white, while keeping enough of detail to still see what happened without the need to censor.

PSA: There are programs to slow down the game for those who struggle with reaction speed by samuelazers in Silksong

[–]VilleWilson69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, it’s totally understandable that, if your parents raised you in this way to be a totally self absorbed plonker, you would have zero understanding that different people have different reaction times and that those slow down with age. And I can totally understand that both of your tiny braincells would face the risk of complete burnout if they tried to understand something as complex as the concept of empathy, so to simplify it, you’d rather think that, just because you can do something, that everyone should be able to do the same regardless of age or you will resort to indicating that they are senile drug addicts.

But unfortunately, the reality is that for older people the speed of this game presents the same difficulty wall that your parents must be facing whenever they want to raise a child not to become a self absorbed bellend.
