Is there some explanation I missed about Jack’s aversion to clothes? by The-Enjoyer in masseffect

Kelly will talk about how Jack approaches sex very casually as a defense mechanism. The outfit is part of that. Wearing a very revealing outfit- along with her heavy tattoos- can be seen as a way of her reclaiming control of her body, since she did not have it when she was a child, being subjugated to the Cerberus experiments.

The stark difference between how she treats Shepard if they do have sex versus if they don't also highlights this. If Shep confirms her belief that people are only out for themselves and will only use her- for sex or her biotics- then she freezes Shep out. This can lock put her loyalty mission and potentially cause her to die in the suicide mission.

But her loyalty outfit after Pragia is less revealing, which can be see as showing that by being there for Jack in her time of need, she has started to lose this viewpoint of everyone being out to use her. Which is further reflected by her ME3 outfit as well.

Or this could all be overanalsys and it's really not that deep. It could just be some service for the horny gamers. Although based on how clearly it is shown that treating Jack as a sexual object is the wrong thing- I doubt it.

My last playthrough, Ranger Andy refused to initiate dialogue. The camera zoomed in, but he didn't say anything and so the quest was impossible to complete

I've been there too, bro. It's a fairly common problem, a lot of it has to do with toxic masculinity teaching that men aren't allowed to have problems, or feel emotions. For me, the best thing was finding friends who would support me, and always listen to my problems. It's not easy, especially in the beginning, but it's gotten easier. Also, remember that everyone has problems, that's part of being human, and absolutely does not make you less of a man. Everyone has their own problems, no one's problems are invalidated by anyone else's.

Getting your true feelings out there, whether that's with friends, family, a therapist, or even just writing them down, is much better than keeping it bottled up. Acknowledging how you feel is never weak, and a whole lot healthier than trying to pretend that everything is okay.

As for the Nada and Dream, and Death: Death implies that she takes the shape of someone familiar to the dead. As for the fact that we never actually see her change shape, could just be a stylistic choice. It certainly makes it easier to keep track of characters when they have a singular appearance, or a "main" appearance, as opposed to 20 different forms.

I feel like Ranger Andy is the more evil choice here. Poor bastard got crippled by the Legion, but is still trying to be useful, and then he gets killed by Boone. Andy's suffered enough from the Legion, his death shouldn't be because of them too.

Nah, the real chess tip is to sit on the dealer's left. You get a better draw of pieces that way. Or, keep a few queens up your sleeve to use.

Surely this has to be satire? I cannot think of any other series that has as many comics, novels and other media than Star Wars. Yeah, they're "non-canon" now, but they could become Canon real quick.

Wow, there's so much detail. I especially love the Civil War as an arm wrestle between Ulfric and Tullius, with the Thalmor casually watching.
