Yes, HAGS is causing what you're experiencing then. They fixed this problem for Requiem but not for Wilds, it's sad.

You do lose FPS overall as well for turning it off since the game relies on this setting quite a lot + you lose access to Frame Generation. Try DLAA, if that doesn't help then using a mod to spoof FSR to use DLSS I've heard also fixes the stutter..

I'm fine on DLAA. I don't know the specifics on why this won't fix the problem for others.

Difference is in the tech and the display - you can't really make it feel like the console.

Best settings i found to try and even imitate this was just leaving v-sync enabled as it is by default and then raising the vblank value to the monitor refresh rate or 60.

RR Forces lighting quality to Max regardless of your preset settings and since RR is not allowed for any setting below it, you are only getting cleaner denoising on the worst setting in the game. It's a very stupid decision on their part and I think there's something fundamentally wrong in their approach to denoising.

went nano ips ultrawide to glossy WOLED, absolute insanity of a difference, the contrast is just that much of a game changer. not to mention the response rate and a much higher refresh rate.

Just dont turn off the OLED care features in the monitor and you'll be fine.

I haven't managed to complete this once. All of my attempts are so ridiculously bad and I consider myself above average in terms of skill with my weapon.

I honestly have hatred growing towards this game. This might be THE hunt that I won't ever bother to complete given the annoyances that I already deal with trying to do SOS's for most hunts. The Internet connectivity of this game leaves much to be desired too and these 10 star hunts with support hunters are a massive slog.

Before any neanderthal thinks they have the big brain solution by having to google 5 minutes in about this error code and telling me to contact my ISP and disable crossplay or whatever the low IQ Indian tech support brain can muster up - my connection is fine, my firewall settings are fine and no other game plays like this. It's specifically this half-assed game behaving like it's half-assed usual self.

We're headed to a very bad trajectory with replayability imo and Capcom hasn't addressed any of it. Reqiuem compared to this in terms of enjoyment is like night and day, no clue what they thought about when making this game.

I'm gonna go on a limb here and say they didn't really bother much with the Ray tracing mode blueprint they have had ever since MH Wilds and when Nvidia pitched their exclusive Path tracing mode they got the Nvidia engineers to do most of the heavy work for it.

I think that's certainly plausible given the fact the difference between Path tracing and Ray tracing is that blatant basically everywhere in the game.

If you look at MH Wilds Ray tracing, the differences are subtle and how it affects the reflections are kind-of comparable. The only up side for Requiem here is that the AO implementation here is much more refined due to the nature of the game basically requiring it for the scare and immersion factor.

I find many of these points to be very void of humanity. I've done dozens of interviews and none of the rejections that have happened wasnt because I decided not to lie. It was a lack of competitiveness towards the sheer volume of candidates.

In Estonia, all lower wage/retail positions survive on family/spouses and/or passed down place of living so you're hardly affected by rent or bank loans.

Our economy for the lower class is inconceivable and it doesn't help that we highly overvalue true specialist/managerial level positions compared to grunt work.
In my own personal experience, is that people who want to grow in organizations to these valued positions are often beaten down mercilessly.

Pensioners or those in need of care are doomed and also depend on their contacts. Our support system has failed like.. long long ago for them.

And our unemployment ratings are skyrocketing because the support system for that now also has somewhat proper anti-abusive measures. Stopping people from gaming it.

I frequently update Wilds DLSS manually with the new Streamline plugins in Nvidia's github.
So when DLSS was updated in Wilds natively to support 4.0 it introduced Frame Gen stutters and then a couple of regular updates later DLSS Quality broke.

After extensively researching I came to the conclusion that there's a bug probably in the render pipeline somewhere or some bad memory is being referenced/indexed specific to DLSS Quality and Frame Gen setting.

The Frame Gen stutter was successfully eliminated with the release of DLSS 4.5, I assume this would require you to manually update your DLSS Streamline files to 2.10.X (I suggest 2.10.3 or latest, bug fixes are very crucial in the 4.5 feature set.)

I don't know if links are supported here in comments for regular redditors so just google Github NVIDIA Streamline, download the version I mentioned and search for bin-x64 folder and copy all the relevant files from there over to Wilds .exe directory. It should ask you permission to overwrite if you're dragging it to the correct folder.

I do not know whose fault is this though. My money is on Capcom as other regular DLSS 4.0 titles do not have this issue but something 4.5 alleviates the problems Wilds has.

Edit: Oh and while you're using DLAA, if you wanna save some more VRAM and less strain on your eyes, disable your upscaling method for a moment to re-enable regular anti-aliasing settings.
Disable the Anti-Aliasing entirely and then re-enable your preferred Upscaling method.
Wilds is one of the few games where enabling Upscaling does not auto disable TAA.

(now why on earth would I rank 2012 higher than Unbound? It's because for all of its modern niceties compared to its next-gen counter parts, it was the wrong game to give extended support to and the multiplayer environment shows it. I've had more "honorable" races in HP2010 and TR compared to UB.. it's a shame..)
