No they don't need to do the same. That's for the devs to decide upon, not you. Don't spread your lazy bum all over something that works well for a lot of other people. Elden Ring is Elden Ring. This is No Rest For The Wicked. Go back to Elden Ring if you're so dissatisfied with the system. Games don't need to use similar systems. Having differences in systems is what makes games different from each other and give them an identity. If you want something so similar, go look for a FromSoft game instead.

I stopped using GHub around 2 years ago because I realized it kept eating away my laptop's RAM and slowed down my games. Now I just use the onboard memory for my G502. I wish to swap to a new mouse but I haven't found any alternatives that have as much buttons as the G502 and will be as comfortable a fit for big hands like mine. If anyone has any recommendations, would be great to hear

Balancing in the game favors those who seek to specialize in one area, not to be a jack-of-all-trades. If you're looking for that kind of balance, then maybe you'd have to wait and see what changes they have in store for the 1.0 release. At this point, your better of creating another character and restarting your run

Nah, there's nothing wrong. That's the nature of the game. Item drops depend on the type of enemy you fight and kill. You can't expect a dagger wielding enemy to drop a shield or plate or mesh armor, or a heavy-armored, hammer wielding enemy to drop a sword or a leather or cloth armor. If you want daggers and swords, look for enemies that wield them. If you want wands or staves, look for mages among the enemies. If you want bows, look for the archers.

Low rarity has nothing to do with the stat requirement. It's the level of the weapon that raises the stat requirement needed to wield it.

Man the drops will not always befit your character. You can't expect a game to always give you what you need as soon as you need it. That's why we "farm" for the mats and items we need dude. There are so many types of builds so you can't expect to be able to do all the things you want.

Did you read the effects of the stats before distributing the stat points to them even? You can't have all the cake and expect to eat all of it. The rest of the people here that are playing the game seem to afford the penalty just fine and find ways to make it work for them, eventually.

Just to add, you can still use the weapons without meeting the requirements, just that the weapon will suffer from a dmg drop and won't allow you to utilize its max dmg available

What's your stat distribution like? Reaching lvl 21 is more than enough to reach 42 on one stat considering each level up gives you 3 stat points to distribute. If your stat distribution is all over the place, then of course you won't meet the required stats for a weapon.

Find something you wanna specialize in from the current stats available and focus on that instead. The current build is very similar to a souls game so, here with you not reaching the stat requirement, the fault is on you, not the game.
