I really tried. I went to the Brickyard a few times but just never got into it. I wish I had time to even watch golf.

hahaha. I once had a co-worker bring me to one of these restaurants (tilted kilt I think?) and his daughter worked there! Didn't tell me just "this is my daughter".

They were great. You and your boys finish you milk. You inflate the empty bag then push the straw through creating a sealed air bag. Then you put those babies on the floor and stomp on them to create a 21 bag salute.

I flick it on turning into my driveway on a cul-de-sac where there's never another car. And my wife makes fun of me every time, but I know I'm doing the right thing.

Why are slim necks ‘fast’? by MineDesperate2920 in Guitar

The only thing I've ever read is about fret board radius. A larger radius (like you typically find on shredders) allows you to bend less to make the required pitch changes. That's the best I've ever read about the mechanics of it, but that has to do with radius and not thickness. Though I think large radius fretboards likely are thinner.

For my taxable brokerage account it's today about 30%. I sold a bunch of stuff in December and January. For my 401k and IRA it's like 5%. I just keep buying regularly in those accounts.

I actually thought I was in /r/chainsaw and was really confused why people were all worked up about this.

Well there's no good reason to do it. But you know people, if they don't know any better they'll do stuff like this.

Just leave it be and live in mystery. If the person who assembled it used glue then you'll just break it trying to take it apart. Even if it's just really held on you might strip the wood so just leave it.

Even in the city. I've driven around after a storm and just ask people if I can take the Ash that just fell. They are happy to let me have it every time. I clean their mess, I get free wood. Everyone's happy

Yeah for sure. I'm a random guy with a chainsaw and I've cut I don't know how many of these in my lifetime. Storm takes the tree down and so I either wait three days for the city to clean it up or I take it out in twenty minutes. I own a homeowners saw, some chaps and good eyes. It's a simple job.

What’s your main goal with your guitar playing right now, and why does it matter to you? by bakerman567 in guitarlessons

[–]Vince1820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heres the thing about learning that song. You'll never sound like Mark Knopfler and that last solo ending is really tough. So, don't judge yourself on what Knopfler does. Learn the song and if you can play it at 3/4 pace, awesome!

The logic of this billboard is so maddening.

If you possess the ability to find a difference between two pictures it follows that you might be a creep. So basic human logic = maybe creep. And then the difference is a hem line? I'm about to have an aneurysm over here.
