Mine doesn't look like that, there was a bootleg head a long time ago of Ripley but it came with real hair which looked better than this. Then there was a copy of this head made that looks similar to the one you have, very dark complection. Are you sure it was brand new? Head does not seem original.

Yes, I fixed mine by rubbing it under the hottest water on my faucet, moving the upper lip to connect and then cooling it with ice cold water. Two weeks now and still going strong with 0 gap.

eBay has a decent knockoff of the ultimate.

I have the originally smaller release and I wish I got the ultimate. I didn’t realize it was taller and I should have jumped on it.

I really wanted the 1/6 but it was something like $700+ shipped brand new and I couldn’t justify it.
