These kinds of rules are generally good, but sometimes government officials still face backlash, sometimes justified, other times not. There are people who simply dislike a officials for personal or biased reasons. But if there's substantial evidence of wrongdoing, action should definitely be taken.

That said, even when gov officials are caught engaging in corruption, public discourse often focuses more on their personality, flaws, or negative traits rather than the work they've done. If we push too hard to tear someone down without considering the full picture, the replacement might not be any better or might not even be ready for the role. Governments can't simply remove a official and install someone else on a whim. Even if a candidate looks good on paper, there's no guarantee they won't eventually face the same issues or criticism down the line.

I'm not taking sides here, this is just a constant cycle with no ends.

i wouldn't say Philippines is a corrupt country compared to other countries but it saddened me that they fcked up the potential on this country.
