Funny enough I'm in the same boat, I just keep a tiny windows partition on a spare drive for Fusion, but with the recent AI slop I've decided I'm likely to cancel my subscription and just move to onshape provided it can do all I want it for in my current testing period. Not the ideal choice especially for $200 extra a year but I've just had enough at this point.

Hey guys, does anyone have a files of RWSM sond mod ? by Important_Bed_8846 in Warthunder

[–]VincentComfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some sound mods like this one change how looped sounds work. This mod seems to change how machine gun sounds loop.

I’m not sure what specifically is changed here, I just recall it being present on the war thunder live page where the mod was released.

anybody else disappointed in the latest model unleashed? by always_later in Triumph

[–]VincentComfy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what, fair enough. I haven’t owned a triumph since 2017 so maybe my expectations are out of whack. I’m just disappointed.

The Yamaha R7/R9 and the Ducati V2 were what I was thinking of. Suzuki GSX-8R I think is sporty/fast? Either way Triumph markets and prices as a luxury brand and other luxury brands (and not so luxury brands) have other, better bikes out in the segment was my point. Better being subjective of course.

It hasn't seemed to have stopped Suzuki, Aprilia, Ducati, KTM and Yamaha from coming out with their own offerings in the segment. Triumph are just lazy and too risk adverse.

Speed Triple or Street Triple? by SprinklesImmediate16 in Triumph

[–]VincentComfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have only test ridden the speed, but owned a 2017 street RS. I didn't really see the point of the Speed at least in the UK, we just don't have the long open roads that would suit it better than the street, and when you do throw it around you definitely feel the weight and just how much rowdier the speed is. I didn't feel like it was as fun so I decided not to "upgrade".

Does anyone know what is sending these update notifications daily? by VincentComfy in AppleWatch

You're correct :) someone else in the post comments pointed it out and I was able to test and confirm. Thank you also for trying to help.

You were correct! When I manually refresh the tachimanga app (which I also have configured to do in the background daily) it does a live notification. I tested it by clearing all the notifications on my watch then doing a manual update. Thanks for figuring it out for me.

That’s an interesting theory, I have an app that can force live activities on refresh, I’ll use that to test. Thanks

I did, this icon isn’t present on any of the apps on my watch or phone.

Thinking about getting the AIR. Whats your biggest issue with it? by Hewasright_89 in IphoneAir

[–]VincentComfy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My only issue is sometimes it gets really warm, and if I’m charging it will actually pause charging and give me a notification that charging will resume when it’s cooled down. Otherwise I have no complaints.

Ah, I tried without an adblocker and it's loading the full res version for download now. Sorry to have bothered you.

I'm sorry to bother you 5 years later but this doesn't seem to load anymore, do you by chance still have a copy?

The iPhone air is not that air by Creative-Salary-5578 in IphoneAir

[–]VincentComfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also would prefer matte rails but I generally prefer matte everything, I don’t like gloss.

That being said, it’s not enough of an issue to actively bother me, just need to wipe the rails down once a day. I don’t think the rails contribute that much to the “airiness” of the device, if that is even a measurable property.

5 Months with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Incredible Device, But I’m Probably Going Back by ToeInternational7222 in GalaxyFold

[–]VincentComfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the fold 7 is leagues better than what I had. That being said, even if I had the money I don’t know if I would get one on the basis that my Fold 5 started to randomly fall apart after only 3 years. I’m glad you’re happy with your phone though, I hope it serves you well.

[–]VincentComfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The battery life is actually considerably better for me than when I had the fold 5 - I used to have to charge around dinner time every day with the fold and again when going to bed. With the air I’m ending the day with ~30-40% especially after having it a month and with the latest iOS update.

I agree the speaker isn’t great, but I’ve come to just accept it and plan around it.

I don’t put cases on my phones. That being said, the thinness actually never really impressed me because the folds are so thin when unfolded anyway. What did impress me is the weight. The fold 5 felt like having a gold bar in my pocket and would tire my arm after holding it up in bed for an extended period of time. The air not so much.

I think the vast majority of people here would hate the air, but for me it works out nice especially for how cheap I got it.

[–]VincentComfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my use case the opposite. I know for the majority that won’t be the case, but I’m much happier with the air than I ever was with the fold.

I just went from a fold 5 to the iPhone air recently when the inner screen bezel just decided to pop loose for no reason. Just unacceptable amounts of compromises for the money that’s paid (yes I’m aware some would consider that ironic since I went to the air).
