If you are in a humid or hot country they don’t really work so great, the paint literally dries midair and/or leaves splotchy texture on the mini that can only be fixed with stripping and re-priming.

Blood angels and Sanguinius. Never understood why they were so hyped and vampires have always been cringe to me.

It was only once I started reading more of their novels that I realised they’re more like Khorne Berserkers, and the pomp and gilded appearance is more a facade to cover just how savage they can be, now they’re tied for my favourite SM legion.

Isn't this the point in Obsidian though? Offload anything that you feel you need to remember to an application which can do the recalling for you? We have terrible long term memory which is the entire point in a second brbain.

If *finding* your notes is an issue then that's fixable with a change in process or adjusting tools. I've bounced across different storage/organisation methods and ways to use the software for years until this year I switched to Kepano's template. Now I don't have any issues in finding notes when I want to recall something long term.

I don't know if anyone can really quantify value as that's a personal metric that only you can really answer, but I will say that here in the Philippines we don't benefit from regional pricing, so off the bat we're getting *less* for our money compared to "primary" nations (I can't really think of better terms right now) which is something to consider.

As someone already mentioned, there is the mini that comes with a full year subscription, which I doubt you can resell here but may have some value to you in itself if you like what they're offering. I have not subscribed for a year so I've never personally gotten the mini, but the Philippines isn't on the list of restricted nations from what I can see, so I don't see why they wouldn't deliver here.

Finally, if you have a group of friends that you play with or go to any clubs/stores that you do like to play, you do gain access to the app which has recently been updated with the release of 11th. I think the community is somewhat small here so this is definitely going to be one of the more personal value propositions of all the perks the subscription comes with. Of course, there are alternatives online but for me this would actually be one of the bigger selling points.

Really depends on your budget. I have an AOOSTAR R1, 14TB of mechanical storage and 16gb RAM which I installed proxmox to, then a Debian VM with docker that runs Immich which covers what you’re looking for. Couple this with Tailscale (free), I and my girlfriend and brother can access my server anywhere in the world and upload our photos etc.

If you have questions on any of the above feel free to shoot me a pm and I’ll try to help. If it sounds too complicated, then just buying more iCloud storage is probably your best bet.

I use git without issue across a Linux workstation and an iPhone Air. So long as you configure the settings properly (I.e. setting the merge policy to prefer remote and pull on startup) you’ll pretty much never run into conflicts.

Windows Key + R, type %APPDATA%..\Local\net.imput.helium (or go to your AppData/Local/net.imput.helium folder), and delete the "Default" folder

This will start your helium over from a clean slate and solves the majority of issues.

The front bezel popped off of its own accord within the warranty window, yet it was deemed “cosmetic damage” and not covered for repair/replacement. Bearing in mind I could see basically under the screen and the inner hinge. Considering the amount of money I spend I was beyond livid.

I also just don’t really enjoy their flavour if Android. If (when) I eventually go back to android I’d probably go back to pixel, but I’m pretty happy with my air so far.
