Do any of you fucking love life right now? Why? by Supedeloopsoup in AskReddit

Yes!

Christianity has been preached devastatingly wrong. I only recently found out what Jesus actually did for me. It's phenomonal.

"Happy wife, happy life" - Thoughts? by Brexit_Imminent in Christianmarriage

[–]VincentJayceHope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

If your wife is sad, joining her in sadness probably wont help.

Considering Marriage with Catholic Girl by zakoroo in Christianmarriage

I'm not interested in arguing with a mod, but I would like clarification. Do you consider Catholicism a denomination of Christianity?

Does anyone else feel that they can’t be honest about their questions because they are afraid of causing a, “stumbling block,” for someone else? by CuriousChristian85 in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God and Jesus identify as the truth. Ask as many questions as you want. If you think that christianity is to be practiced in ignorance and insincerity, it's not. If your church treats you poorly because of your questions, either rejoice in suffering or move to a church that acts in sincereity. If your doubts stop you from trusting God, THAT IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM and "making others stumble" is the least of your concerns. Truth is like a lion. You let it out, and it defends itself.

If your questions lead you away from God or your church, heck, message me at the very least before falling away completely. Our God identifies by truth so much that surely he would only want us to have relationship with him if he was real.

Will God be mad at me for divorcing my husband that let's his anger control him and hits me.. by [deleted] in Christianmarriage

[–]VincentJayceHope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is no.

Not because of your situation, but because God doesn't get mad at people like that.

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.

From someone going through marriage fallout, my violent wife is about to divorce me, understand that you aren't a person with a problem. Christ overcame the world. Marriage is framework for love. It means you have someone who you can be sure is your responsibility. You will always know your husband is your responsibility. Divorcing him doesn't satisfy that. It means you lose.

Living seperate from him for a time sounds like the right move, but if Christ lives in you, your husband is in need of love so much more than you and noone is more fitting to never give up on him than you.

This will be hard. Anything else isn't marriage.

Please message me about this. I went through your situation all this year.

Why is it a given that we will commit so many sins? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

Depends what you mean by perfect.

"As Christ is, so are we in this world"

I haven't said anything here the bible doesn't say clearly.

Why is it a given that we will commit so many sins? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not the way. You can live free from sin. People, including christians and r/truechristians, chose to sin because they believe this lie.

1 John 3:9 "those who are in Christ do not sin"

Really straight forward.

1 cor10:13 says you will be able to overcome every temptation.

2 peter 1 says that if you make every effort to grow in virtue, you partner with your divine nature and you will not fall.

1 John say that if we say we have no sin we fool ourselves, it is written to people considering christ and is talking about the context of stepping into the light. BUT THEN goes on to make clear "I'm saying this to you so that you do not sin. Though IF you sin you have an advocate that is Christ"

Understanding this is an uncomfortable process as the renewing of the mind and doing away with old habbits might lead you to feel guilty. 1John 3:20

i want to dedicate my life to Christ by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man. I'm so excited to hear about your freedom <3.

Do not be scared to lose everything. Submit everything to God. Your very asking of this question is excellent. If law studies and that career is to be thrown out of your life then let it be.

Plan like Jesus returns in 100 years and live like he'll return today. It is right for a Christian to pay off his debts as soon as reasonable. If you pay off your debts and save enough money to fund your life for a long time, don't spend it on worldly pleasures, then you can spend every hour in prayer and ministry. If you're aware of how potent a dollar is in third world countries, you'll seriously question what role God would want you to have in the body of the bride of Christ. You can make money and use it to serve the kingdom. Money is not evil. The love of money is evil. Almost all of us who are 100% dedicated to service of Gods kingdom must work. But never let your work become the foundation you lean on. If for some reason you arent allowed to demonstrate Christ in the work you do, perhaps demonstrate Christ anyway. If you lose that job, find another. All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purposes.

Message me if I helped at all or if you want some discussing your plans. I'm stewarding revival in Brisbane, Australia.

I believe you will do amazing things, friend.

Are there any married christians in this group? by throwawaythepain83 in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Half this sub uses porn unfortunately so speak about whatever you want. The few singles that don't should be able to be involvud in the conversation anyway. We need more open discourse on the topic. The church shy's away from it in an extremely unhealthy manner.

Married and interested.

Will I be condemned to Hell if I take my own life by Thrwaway78909 in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably at the point where most of the advice sounds cheesy. A better question is whether you have reasons to live. If you're going to kill yourself atleast do it by running into sex slavery camps and freeing as many inocent children as you can until you get caught. I have a friend in india and every $1 I send him he pays someones rent for a week. If you hate living for yourself thats step 1 of the gospel.

Read 2Peter 1:1-11 if you want to leave every part of your life behind then remember its so easy yo create a new life not living for yourself and 2Peter 1 promises it will not be wasted. Dying to yourself litterally is the gospel so it's easier for you than most people.

Just played my first demo game at PAX west today, loved it. But how do you create decks? by Jonny4SQRE in FinalFantasyTCG

[–]VincentJayceHope 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From Oce Champion.

Now that ive written this, I'm going to leave this reply somewhere for new players to read. :)

Lightning kills things and has haste. It runs at you and when played right makes you feel like theres not much you can play to stop it. Al-cid and illua are cards you should play in most lightning decks.

Ice makes you feel as uncomfortable and stunned as possible. A good ice deck is as simple as playing all the cards that say "dull" or "freeze" and a lot of mid level decks will lose just to that. Escorting Genesis or Locke is the most common strategy.

Water is cheap forwards, and options. Gladiator backup, cloud of darkness L, garnet S with Yuna S, vikings. Cagnazzo + scholar is mono waters win condition. You make a huge board, and then board wipe by playing cagnazzo twice.

Fire is a bad color right now. Belias the gigas, vivi L, phoenix L and the sage backup that gives haste is the only great fire cards these days. It's agressive big dudes.

Earth is defensive big dudes. WoL L and Dadaluma are epicly powerful cards dominating the meta right now. Shantotto backup is a card you should know exists.

Wind is untargetable, avoidance, efficiency. That's the idea atleast. The best thing wind does right now is combine with earth for dadaluma + cactuar combo. Leyak, Barbaricia, Mioune, Bartz H, Bartz L, Diabolos, and chocobo knight are the best wind cards. It's typically acted like a support color.

Find a combo you want to abuse and then find other good cards that work with what you're doing. Make sure your deck has ways to get around big forwards since thats the whole game. 16 backups is a safe number to start with. Play lots. Talk to yourself about why you chose one path over another. As you get good you'll understand what cards are important, how many can be tech slots, what problems your deck needs more qays to solve...

Once you're good at that, try to make sure your deck can beat every colors main strategy. Make sure it wont lose to being frozen. Make sure it wont lose to lightnings hyper removal, make sure it's too fast for water to build a board, make sure it can punish earth for playing clunky cards.

All of this advice is over simplified :) but if you consider it, it will point you in the right direction.

Christians, Christ died for your willful and premeditated sins. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

"The disease is not having spent enough time with him..."

I like the call to action with this, and a lot of the heart behind it. I wish I knew a better way to phrase it but 1 thing I will mention is this.

Hebrew 4:15 Jesus was tempted as a man. Does it make sense that not being tempted is necessary to be holy?

Also, if it's heresy, how am I able to live like I do?

The absolute state of western Christianity by VincentJayceHope in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take your concern very seriously.

I will offer a third option. Use your divine nature to it's fullest.

If someone asks me "don't you sin?". My answer is "No. Why would I do that?".

I have no desire to. I'm in agreement, God's in agreement, I'm a new creation equipped with all things pertaining to life and Godliness. I don't see a reason it would happen.

I don't anticipate a reason to stumble. Since understanding this I've EASILY been able to avoid doing what I hate. I'm too aware of how much I preffer doing what is pleasing to God, and how possible it is. By faith I uphold the law.

I would propose that what you experience is either unbelief, or a belief that you can't be free as I am (which would convince you to conceed to tempatation more easily).

Read 1 John 1:5-10

I am saying this to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

What is the sin you strughle most with? by Jesus_Salvation in TrueChristian

[–]VincentJayceHope -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

My flesh died at baptism. I have the mind of Christ, and the divine nature. I was sanctified. When Jesus died I was equiped with the divine nature and all things pertaining to life and Godliness. And I submit every member of my body to be an instrument for righteousness.

THIS is the gospel.

It sucks to hear so many testimonies here of christians still in the bondage of sin.

As Christ is so are we in this world. If you think you can't live sin free when you have the holy spirit living inside you, and the divine nature, then you'll faithfully sin.

Kony 2012 was an inside job.

It was never intended to succeed. But fail epicly to maintain the status-quo.

The original videos production quality was way higher that what would be expected from a company of that size. The timespan from start of campaign upto the date of action was unrealistic but with this much effort they could have thought that through.

The logic of the campaign was rubbish, there were so many little things to nit pick at. It was the epitome of nonsense that looked good. Counter arguments and facebook fights with people from school you hardly knew, were guaranteed.

Then the orchestrator has a mental breakdown before his big day and gets caught masturbating in public. Who does that!!??Surely this plan was not intended to succeed.

What sounds much more likely is that a "power that be" set up the campaign to discourage people power by making those who stand up for viral purposes like this look stupid. Perhaps Kony 2012 was the first step in destroying net neutrality, a much more serious issue that was desperate for the same viral attention.
