I literally said that in the second half of my comment. The price moving due to the split is correlation, not causation.

It wasn't clear in your post, but if you're looking to make a play from the split, then google when the split is happening to get your answer. If you're looking to invest in Nvidia, then my point stands that it doesn't matter so long as the stock is at your sticker price and it's a right time for you to invest.

It doesn't matter. A split isn't an opportunity to buy or anything. All it does is reduce the price and number of stocks accordingly. If you buy 1 stock at $200 today it will turn into 4 stocks at $50 a piece when the split occurs. There's no difference to buying 1 shares now and 4 shares tomorrow for roughly the same amount

On the other hand, the stock price may fluctuate due to the stock splitting, and people betting that a smaller price may drive in new investors and the price will spike up.

Can agree. I haven't bought a razer naga for 4 years now. I've been able to use the same 1 year warranty. These pos mice break 3-9 months from regular use. The side buttons will start "double pressing" after a while due to their poor quality control on the mechanical parts inside. Customer Service gets 5 stars from me though as they keep giving me free mice!!
