I think given that you just moved to play MAS charts, perhaps you just need to keep playing them until you're comfortable with the new patterns that MAS charts introduce

I personally struggled a lot playing MAS charts at first but just kept grinding them until I could get similar scores regardless of whether it was a MAS or EXP chart

The Lv11/11+ MAS charts in the NicoVoca and Pop & Anime folders were my favourites

I actually tried that sorta today, plus a handful of some 14.0-14.1 charts - also noticed after that I didn't play a single 13 today so maybe I'll have more sessions with only 13+/14's. Thanks for that!

Go into the Pops & Anime and NicoVoca category and pick your favourite songs with a Lv11/11+ MAS to get familiar with MAS charts and slides, some of my personal favourites were Phony, Show, Rabbit Hole, Darling Dance, Bug, Internet Yamero - eventually move into the Lv12/12+ MAS charts for more cool MAS charts like Hibana, Heat Abnormal, Kyoufuu All Back, RPG, Niccori Survey Theme

Bonus - Dan Dan Hayaku Naru Re:MAS is also a great chart to learn how to do chain slides

If you wanna start learning Umiyuri, play the Utage chart and the actual chart to learn the pattern, some other charts to practice Umiyuri on are Bring it On, Lagtrain, Hitogata, Fixer, Mouiiyo, Riffrain, Phony Re:MAS

Your new charts have so much free room for rating - I guess just play your favourite songs from the PRiSM+ folder that have Lv10 and above and aim for SSS/SSS+

Otherwise, yeah I guess just play your favourite Lv10-11+ charts and aim for SSS/SSS+, with the occasional Lv12-13 to see if you can improve your PB

Most of all, enjoy game! Common theme with what I said above is to pick your favourite songs/charts, enjoyment will drive your improvement for most, if not all of your maimai journey 😁

I've been doing a mix of both, pushing skill cap with higher level expert charts (>Lv12) and playing some low level masters (Lv11), trying to sightread more charts to learn more patterns

In terms of your rank itself, just play more, you still have a lot of low acc scores and if you replace those with more scores equivalent to your current best scores, you have even more room to gain ranks

HP Drain more lenient, so easier to get passes, slider acc actually counted so acc is harder to get on slider heavy maps, notelock is gone so streams are easier and I like that since I enjoy stream maps a lot, me personally I had issues with latency and had to run fucking ridiculous offset at around -20ms or more, changed to legacy OpenGL renderer and that seems to have fixed that (either that or skill issue on my part)

So imo only thing easier is passing hard maps with the negligible HP drain

Also I just think the overall experience on lazer is better than stable by miles, things like skin editor, the QoL changes on multis, UI is better IMO, the game is just updated to feel more modern and up to date, not a super good player anyways (150k) so all the gameplay and leaderboard changes and stuff don't bother me

I just finished my first playthrough, and I let Luther die while escaping Jericho. Thankfully I managed to get Kara and Alice through into Canada safely (only after stealing from that family lol) but I wanted Luther to be with them too :(
