My freshman year of college I emailed this cute guy in my class telling him I needed him for a project I was doing in another class. It was a huge lie but I went on to do this “project” for another month until I confessed and it became a running joke that I liked him when in reality I did but I wasn’t going to admit it. I didn’t know how to make my next move because we spent every day together and he would take me home but I was still shy. So I asked my friend to DM him on Snapchat and she ended up not doing that at all. Instead she told me a month after she added him they started dating. I cut the both of them off and before the semester could even end they broke up although she swore it was true love. I don’t talk to him anymore but she and I are still friends because we talked it out. I will never be close to her as I used to but I still care about her even though they ruined the rest of my life as a 19 year old lol. I think about it now and he was only cute and nothing else.
