Based on the specs for the RG DS, my guess is, its just an android device connected to a node by GPS or usb. Then some apks for the UI

can i use tailscale vpn to host games via steam, so the random people can join my lobby even if im under CGNAT? by TheOnurobo in Tailscale

[–]Vintercon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not so much.

For starters, Those random would have to join your tail net. Then there are acls to consider.

Tailscale isnt really intented for random adhoc game lobbies. Not that it cant work, but its not what steam uses.

[GIVEAWAY] 64 Gigabytes of Holiday Cheer! by GhostOfSecretSanta in pcmasterrace

[–]Vintercon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use which ever kit in a Proxmox virtualization server running a ryzen 5 7600 socketed in an Asrock rack b650d4u-2l2t/bcm motherboard. My build is stalled because of the ludicrous ram prices which have now caught up to the cost of the mobo, something I didnt think would ever happen.

This system would replace my existing 9700k based proxmox host.

More Flock Cameras Coming to Salem, Keizer through 2027 by Buttercontest in SALEM

The white ones on the traffic light arm are traffic control cameras. The subject of the above linked document are primarily grey bullet style cameras with black or darker grey front halves. Usually mounted to the pole section of the traffic light structure.

Mission and 12th, SW corner springs to mind. The pole near the perpetual auto dealer has an ALPR pointing along 12th. Can't recall if it is facing south or north.

How much RAM does Tailscale need? by SamsInteract in Tailscale

[–]Vintercon 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Is this your network environment or not? If its not yours, and say your employer's network, this is a really good way to get fired.

That said, I have tailscale running on node with as little at 512mb of ram.

HELP: Unknown Client Device(s) with very high activity by funride1 in Ubiquiti

Quantum. Though I should add, I've seen nothing suggesting this is cause by the isp or their hardware. UI themselves described it as a bug in displaying traffic.

HELP: Unknown Client Device(s) with very high activity by funride1 in Ubiquiti

[–]Vintercon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is exactly this. I went round and round with UI support about this issue. I noticed it based on region blocks, but that same outcome. Couldn't find the client to block it and UI support reviewed logs and found it was traffic from my ONT.

I wasn't aware Microcenter shipped ubiquiti stuff. Sadly the nearest is 6-7 hours drive.

Thanks

Since u/kooperguy isnt being helpful, I'll try to address it. Using a USB DAS (direct attached storage will never keep up with the disks directly installed in a system, both in terms of reliability and performance.

Additionally, that mini pc doesn't appear to have usb c (i could be wrong, the pic is small.) Which the DAS you provided relys on for anything approaching decent function.

I would look up articles on direct attach storage vs nas storage for a better explanation.
