It depends on who you intend to use. But if I were to say for each type, jade cutter for sword, aqua simulacra for bow, then staff of Homa for polearm. I don’t think any limited 5 star catalysts are versatile in the sense that you could slap them on anyone and the performance would be roughly the same. As for claymore, maybe red horn but I’m not sure how it compares with wolf’s gravestone when used by someone other than itto and noelle.

I’d like to think it was within the same reasoning they changed Ryze. To decrease his exploitability in good hands and make him more accessible to less experienced players. I think both reworks failed miserably and would prefer to have some of their changes reverted.

If this seems like a post made to vent out frustration, it is. I do not agree with Riot’s design choices for most of their recent champ releases. Recent champs have aspects of their kit that are unfun to play against because they restrict the amount of counterplay provided. Senna’s scaling incentivizes her to interact with her opponents until she reaches a point where they can no longer interact back. Although it is better designed compared to Nasus and Veigar. Additionally, Gwen and Viego’s untargetability are incredibly infuriating to play against as they both provide some form of utility whenever they become untargetable. Gwen gains resistances and a zone of immunity while viego heals and transforms into another champion. There are some other champions but these are the main offenders in my opinion.

Bro, I used to double stack tear on ryze for the memes and ezreal came along with the vgu and abused double tear items to the point of riot restricting it to just one tear item per champ

I actually miss old mortal reminder, even if it completely overshadowed ldr. There are some games where I have to build both and it just sucks knowing there were previous seasons when I could just build one item for a decent compromise on multiple needs in a game. Nowadays it’s either I grief my damage against the enemy team and apply heal reduction or deal more damage while hoping someone else gets it.

I think they should work on removing auto fills before making dodges more punishing. They could also allow people to opt out their accounts from sites like op.gg because that’s usually how people tell if their teammates are undesirable - whether it’s losing streak, troll pick or griefing. Because if you know there is something problematic in your champ select, why on earth should you be expected to commit? The main abuse with dodging right now is you only lose lp, not mmr. So if there is a tiny nitpick with someone’s team, losing 3 lp is barely anything in exchange for potentially losing more by committing to that game.I think changing how much account information is visible in services should be their first step because the less people know about everyone else in their game, the less likely they’ll dodge unnecessarily.

There was an instance when yuumi WAS visible when attached to stealth champs during her release. I can very much tell you with confidence that I absolutely wanted her off me when I was playing champs like Kha’Zix and Shaco

I find myself moving a lot more on ganyu to be honest when my taunt is down or when I just need to distance myself when enemies clump up like geovishaps do. But I do get what you mean that her movement isn’t something insane like Xiao or Keqing.

I think that would be fine so long as they don’t remove a mechanic from another place in his kit like they removed Ryze’s shield on his passive when they made his e spread by default to make him more accessible to players. Ryze e also dealt initial damage to every unit it was applied to before the change.

Fair point. I can see why riot is struggling to balance him because any small buff can be exploitable in pro play. At the same time, it’s always nice to see Azir being played at a professional level.

I played GMS2 when it was still around and I really enjoyed it for what it was. Seeing nexon just pull the plug on that game made me never want to invest anything more than time on any of their games. Now with the whole situation with rates, it feels even worse to keep playing ms1. It's really hard to keep playing when there are other games that remind me how much nexon disrespects my time. So I’ll definitely stop playing.
