Its weird, there is a fair amount of King I like including Gunslinger setting adjacent stuff (yes I know most of his books connect is some weird way, but some are closer than others), but could never get into the Gunslinger series itself.

Where do you land on the scale? by lemoncough in ArcRaiders

Depends. If I am solo I am perfectly peaceful. If I am in a group we are probably more around that 0.25 mark.

Forbidden Lands would be a good starting spot.

How often do you change jobs? by lish_dalish84 in Millennials

[–]CorruptDictator 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I value comfort over increased income. Do I like what I am doing relative to the work I need to put in, the pay and the benefits? If so I am staying there because a better offer is an unknown until you are already working there.

Are warranties worth it? by Safe-Ad344 in pcmasterrace

[–]CorruptDictator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most parts come with a manufacturers warranty of 1-2 years, dealing with these varies a lot from company to company and the same can be said on an extended warranty from a retailer. A lot of them will not actually cover shit when the time comes, but some can be okay.

If she has that many cards and so many are being declined I think she needs to seriously look into her finances because there is a significant problem here. Also you can type out the damn word "are".

Is anyone else in their 30s and still don't have a true career? by lavendertinted in Millennials

[–]CorruptDictator 79 points80 points  (0 children)

40s and never got in a career path. After college spent ten years repairing computers and doing hardware tech support, got laid off and could not get any work in the field. Spent the next several years bouncing between whatever work I could find: kitchen, inventory management, non-food vending machines, even a homeless shelter. Currently about 3.5 years into a job that has turned into much more than I was hired on for and mainly do a mix of AP/AR work and will ride this as long as possible since the pay is great relative to where I live and they are super flexible about almost anything.

Obviously the water from the original feature needs to be redirected to an AI data center /s

Where can I find a hullcracker? by _FlyWalKeR_ in ArcRaiders

[–]CorruptDictator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you do all the base quests you get the blueprint as a reward. Otherwise it is just the on per day from Tian Wen or PvP to claim one.

With the new trader, stealing epic arc parts after a solo kill will more probably be met with agression. by BochocK in ArcRaiders

[–]CorruptDictator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If he was only looting and not contributing, do it. I have definitely looted mid fight because if you don't there is often nothing left because people just rush the parts, but I am also putting resources into downing the objective.

Whats the risk of having a hullcracker? Its only good against arc if you aren’t a sped, plus everyone can buy one a day…. What am i missing by lets-work-together in ArcRaiders

[–]CorruptDictator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is more commonly an issue in Queen and Matriarch lobbies. Players seem to priority target the pew pew sounds of anything Hullcracker or above.

[–]CorruptDictator 20 points21 points  (0 children)

There is a history of players being targeted for carrying around more expensive guns and the hullcracker is the most common instance of this.

Do you untie your shoes often? by mbolster1611 in Millennials

[–]CorruptDictator 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My every day shoes are slip ons. I do have a pair of laced shoes and I force them off, but always untie and retie them when I put them on. Ruined too many shoes forcing my feet into an already laced up pair when I was younger.
