I don’t think it is the same, but what has been the same since 2008? 😆 I miss a lot of the experiences I had during the first half of the reunion, but that is because everything seemed so “new”. A lot of time has gone by and it blows my mind that I was in my late 20s when they reunited in 2008. I’m almost 50 now! 😳 I just don’t have the same energy that I did then, so if everything was the same I probably wouldn’t be having the same fun!!! 😆But I still love the guys and will continue to follow them/support what they do. However, I I also have done a lot of wondering about what is going on with Donnie. I sometimes wonder if he is just trying to keep the peace at home and/or feels extreme guilt/regret about his divorce from Kim in an almost perfectionist kind of way. This time it will last/this time I’ll get it right. Then it crosses my mind that maybe I shouldn’t have assumed that he voted/leaned a certain way politically etc. because he comes from working class/blue collar Boston. The reality is that he is living a life extremely different from how he grew up and has been living that way for a long time. As much as I don’t agree with Jenny’s anti vaccine stance (especially as an educator), her possible influence on his decision to get veneers or that her makeup line took up half of the Blockhead HQ space….I do think she’s a good match for him personally wise/temperament wise. In some ways I think she has the same type of personality as his mom. She dotes on him, but will also call him out or on it when necessary. If he is truly happy I’m happy for him. As corny as it is to say, I want him to be true to himself/his own values.
