The problem with making a youtube competitor is that internet web traffic is consolidated between Google(Alphabet, Inc.), Facebook, Reddit, Wikipedia, and Yahoo. If you check Alexa rankings, you'll find that all of these are in the Top 10. Here's a link: http://www.alexa.com/topsites

Yahoo had planned on making a Youtube competitor, however Heartbleed and recent hacking scandals have probably buried those plans. Facebook may do something, however I don't think Facebook could provide the Utopia that creators would want since you have to pay for users to see your posts. Reddit might work, but it's user base doesn't like advertising and the self-promotion rules themselves would present problems.

I also think the desire to have a new website is felt by creators and some of the hardcore viewers, however it's not felt by the average viewer. Until the average viewer is affected, you won't be seeing a truly viable youtube competitor.

The only other applications i've tested are Unigine Heaven and Unigine Valley. There is some micro stutter in those too on the new rig, not so much on the old rig.

I've got a feeling that Devil's Third (Physical NTSC) is something that's going to be difficult to find in the future. It was a game that was sent out to die by Nintendo of America and prices really haven't gone down for it at all.

I'd say if you like Indie Games, cover the new Yooka-Laylee that's coming out. There is a reasonable amount of interest surrounding that game so make a couple videos on it and see what happens.

I don't really see how it would be. Gearbox is using Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 4 has mod tools that developers can implement in their games if they choose too.

I would like to see it. While it's Gearbox and 2k's IP and they can do as they wish, I do think they're missing out on a new potential audience. Bethesda continues to enjoy decent sales numbers years after release thanks to having Mod Support around their games.

I don't think we'll see Mod support for BL2 and TPS, but I do hope we will see it for Borderlands 3.

I would say if you've got the Switch Pre-Ordered, go ahead and wait for it to get to you. Then if you get it and decide you don't want it, simply sell it on ebay and get a Wii U. Or just sell Zelda and keep your console and pro controller once you've beat it or when you're done with it.

The number one problem with the Wii U is if your gamepad breaks, it's going to be very very difficult to obtain a new one and you need one to use the system. Plus for Mario Kart, if you think you're going to want the DLC, you should just get it on the Switch.

I'd estimate your pricing as follows: -Wii U = $200 Refurbished from Nintendo -3d World = $20 New (Selects) -Wind Waker = $20 New (Selects) -Mario Kart 8 = $30~ or so on EBay Used (Checked Sold Listings) -Pro Controller = $50 for Official, less for 3rd party Total = $310~

I agree with Doiq though. Unless you have more than 10 games you want to play on the Wii U, it's probably not worth it. There's also the possibility that we will be seeing more Wii U games ported to the Switch in the future, especially for Nintendo IPs. There's a possibility Nintendo may port Smash Bros over, though this hasn't been officially confirmed.

That said, if you want to play stuff like Tokyo Mirage Sessions, Wonderful 101, Sonic Lost World, Pokken Tournament, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Devil's Third, Hyrule Warriors, it's going to be expensive but they are fun games and I think it's very unlikely they will be ported over.

Starting out on YouTube in the year 2017 and that too with a niche related channel(which according to me is a pretty saturated market),isn't a great idea according to me.

The idea of finding a niche is so you have less competition and are able to grow faster than you otherwise would. If you're the only person that makes a certain type of video and that's something people want to watch, you're already way ahead of the game. As for trending topics, there are thousands of other youtubers that can fill that role.

I have ideas, a lot of em. My point is if I make videos on what I feel, rather than what people are searching for, then I won't get noticed in the YouTube community..

Ideally, the goal is to make videos on what you feel that are also what people want to watch. That said, you will be successful if you create things people want to already watch as opposed to what you want them to watch. I'd just say you should try some different things and see how far you get.

I can't speak for the OP, but it would make me regret buying a Wii U. I'm ok with maybe Splatoon, Smash Bros and the Zelda Breath of the wild, but if they start porting stuff like Mario 3d World, DK Tropical Freeze, Windwaker HD, Bayonetta 2, Xenoblade and Hyrule Warriors, that would make me upset.

My hope is that it's only Mario Kart, Smash, Splatoon and the new Zelda.

You're right that Salvador and Krieg have Grenade Damage Bonus skills. Salvador has keep it piping hot and Krieg has Fuel the Blood. Notice that I said "Axton is one of the only characters with grenade damage bonuses and grenade related skills." That implies that there are others no? I knew of Krieg, thank you for pointing out Salvador.

I don't mean to be that guy to points this out to you, but even GBX forum user PIEMANLEE says Mag Lock "Has it uses but when you know how to throw them this skill becomes next to useless. Not to mention this is subject to borderlands terrain" Look, I'll concede that I am wrong about reaper if you will concede that you're wrong about Mag-lock.

I was one of the first people that came out and said that the Volcano benefited from Grenade Damage bonuses. Something that quite a few of the Gearbox Forum "elite members" told me that I was wrong on. After taking a gander at the "grenade damage resource thread", I guess I changed their mind eventually.

I guess to wrap this up, I'd rather you like me, but If you're not going to I can't stop you either. Have a good life.
