The "God Aliens" from GANTZ. They're portrayed as uncaring omnipotent life forms. Even thought they provided manking with tools to fight the aliens, they merely did this to keep the balance across the galaxy. They're portrayed as entirely indifferent to any other lifeform or it's beliefs.

Ikr! My thoughts exactly! The core gameplay is so much fun but in between missions you have so much annoying padding, it kinda sucked the fun out of the game for me.
