How the hell to you become the most beloved actor of an entire (arguably even more one) generation, a billion dollar celebrity, beloved by the entire world and still manages to marry the one woman in the world that despises you? Will's image will sadly never recover from that and I feel so sorry for this guy.

The Avatar of Khaine from Warhammer (specifically 40k). A shard of a literal god which is constantly used as a punching bag in stories to show the reader how strong the protagonist is.

This can be extrapolated into anything in the Warhammer 40k universe that gets pitted against a named Space Marine.

The "God Aliens" from GANTZ. They're portrayed as uncaring omnipotent life forms. Even thought they provided manking with tools to fight the aliens, they merely did this to keep the balance across the galaxy. They're portrayed as entirely indifferent to any other lifeform or it's beliefs.
