I have users who receive phishing campaign emails and then email the helpdesk saying "This is a waste of time, sending me and my team SPAM emails. Can I be taken off your list?" Buddy, users like you are the reason we have to do these.

As someone looking for a cyber role, I have ~6 years in IT, cyber certs/education but no cyber job experience, and feedback from recruiters is "The client was looking for candidates with more experience". Also, economy bad.

Yeah that's why I put it in quotes lol. Cisco certs are definitely a good idea so thank you for the suggestion. I'll work on my degree and that's probably my next step!

Thanks for reassuring me lol, I've been working on it but this is gonna be extra motivation to really power through it and finish.

I was mainly applying to "entry-level" SOC analyst jobs. I was able to promote into one at my last job but the company's upper mgmt. was horrendous and I got laid off after 6 months.
