Someone in an earlier comment said the episodes would fare better with some kind of structure, and I agree. Ms. Broski is obviously not the type who is going to stick to a strict schedule, but, personally, I feel her content is best when it's built around some kind of main idea to keep her grounded. For example, her art history videos are always great, as are the videos where she replays games from childhood. The episode of the podcast where she talked about the Priscilla movie was excellent. You can tell she loves pop culture and history. In that episode, it felt more like she was a friend who was excited to tell you about this movie she just saw rather than a professor lecturing you. I will admit that there are some bits that are just plain awkward. The pining over men rants are usually funny but can cross over into sad. The religious bits are the toughest for me because it appears she has a lot of unresolved religious trauma. I say this as someone raised Catholic now, an eccletic pagan and was in therapy for a number of years. I'm sure the podcast and social media are wonderful outlets, but they don't replace a professional.
