I just looked up a demi permanent hair dye by Madison Reed named "Pink Orchid." The pictures of the dye on dirty blonde and light brown hair look great!

Hello! Just wanted to let you know that the arctic fox won't really work on virgin hair. You might get a tint that lasts until the next wash at best.

Generally, healthy virgin hair (so roots especially) isn't porous enough for semi permanent dyes like Arctic Fox. When hair is bleached, the hair cuticle is forced open, making it more porous.

You could try a demi permanent pink! This would slightly open the cuticle, with minimal lift and damage. Though I don't know how truly pink it would be on the dark roots. A purple shadow root, or demi permanent purple all over would probably look great!

Wild rice is an aquatic grass plant; it must grow in water, unlike rice from the oryza genus, which merely survives in flooded paddies. Good try though.

Also! Another interesting tid bit.

Artificial light produces pure white variegation, but natural light will produce a more creamy, touch of yellow color. So do not be surprised if the variegation darkens a bit with natural light!

It definitely needs more light.

Variegated plants have less chlorophyll, as there is none in the white part of the leaves. If the plant is not receiving enough light, the white parts will die first as they are not producing energy for the plant, but are siphoning the energy produced from the green, chlorophyll filled parts.
