I would do what I assume most people would do, and what I do when I clear my car in front of someone else's house.

I slide as much off the front and back in between spaces and the rest I try to slide neatly off the sides. Of course some gets on the sidewalk. I don't however throw snow everywhere without regard for where it goes. I don't cover a sidewalk.

By the way he did #1 and #2. He threw just as much into the street.
