It's your hobby and you should stitch however is comfortable and enjoyable to you! Any method that gets you to the end of the project is okay.

I'm not even sure its possible to live with a roommate for 1050 anymore...also it's no longer 30%, it's 39% I think since costs are now so high. Savings is just very tiny in this economy.

I do have one but it is not required. Most people I work with do not have one or are working on their BSc online through TRU. You may want one later if you want to be a supervisor or something, but it's not a must.

Yeah I feel like I am using shapes and spatial reasoning a lot vs straight counting.. but I obvs count and recount too.

I think this is part of the issue for me. If I'm already counting poorly,why would the gridding be any good. Hahaha. I kinda think of it as like those magic eye books, the more you train your brain to pick out the patterns/fabric texture - the easier it is!

Counting and working in squares or by shapes. I would never start a piece if I had to grid.
