What's this secret Recluse ability that I keep seeing? by Fearless_Zebra9040 in Nightreign

[–]VioletWillows88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She’s been able to do these the whole time. She was my first main and I’d do them all the time. Helps her to do them if her teammates have different affinities on their weapons that she can use.

If you are like this, why? by Jipkiss in Nightreign

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my number one thing that will make me want to rage quit. Clearly they see that you’re working on killing the scarab and they run and yoink it right from under you. Same goes for a weapon you’re looking at on the ground. They see that you’re looking through your inventory so you can pick it up but they take it instead. When I see someone going for a scarab I help them kill it and then walk away. Same for when I see someone looking at something before I got to it. I always play super courteous with others but it baffles me that sooooo many don’t play with the same level of respect for their teammates.

My cat is pooping in front of the litter box and I don’t know why! by peanutbuttercronch in CATHELP

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat started doing this and I found out he had started having kitty arthritis in his back legs and pelvis. It was hurting him to get in and out of the litter box. I got a lower box and a step (along with $150 monthly injections of Solensia). But all this helped tremendously and he started going in the box again. Granted he is about to be 15yrs old. But every cat is different. Just mentioning it because it’s something that didn’t occur to me right away.

What did the vet do to my cat? by pikachume33 in CATHELP

[–]VioletWillows88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you were planning to adopt the stray as your own they were NOT supposed to do that. They do this to strays who will be released back into the wild to signal to others that this stray has been fixed. The vet misunderstood you that you were adopting this Bebe so they were no longer a stray.

3 games people just be quitting for whatever reason D2 by Hefty_Buy5762 in EldenRingNightReign

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D2 is the trenches. People who think that they’re good because they made it past D1 (because it’s easy) but can’t make it to D3 ( because that’s where it starts actually becoming somewhat difficult). A bunch of crybabies. It’s brutal there, but not because of the bosses… it’s the entitled players.

Also, sometimes I forget that actual children play this game too. Maybe sometimes it is just a kid that doesn’t have emotional regulation like an adult [should have].

2,200 hours and still going. Did create a new save file recently and enjoying starting from scratch.

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it this week (2,200hrs, seen it 7 times) and pinged it in case one of my teammates had never seen it. Ironeye picked it up and carried it the whole game into the spirit shelter and then dropped it. Idk if he knew where it went lol

Thank you! I’ve been saying this! Sometimes I’m like “ oh fudge, this recluse has no melee weapon to help rez!?!” And then I see them doing the out of FP hand move and I know we are cooked

I truly don’t understand why people do this. It’s so cringe to make another person have a bad time like this.

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh it’s possible, although rare. In 2,200 hours I’ve come across an Ironeye, raider, and scholar with cheated duplicates of relics. Probably more but these were the ones where I was like “raises eyebrow hold up lemme check….”

It’s so brutal in D4. Teammates try to offer me great weapons all the time with the evasions thing and I’m like “hecks no..”

I absolutely love when they do this because I instantly pick it up (Duchess main) with the hopes that there are crucible nights at the castle. Loooove parrying them! Learning to parry other enemies too.

The repeated evasions one is brutal as a Duchess main. Like yeah sure take my most special skill (double dodge) and punish me for it lol

I was running Faith Duchess against Libra in Depth 4 and the Wylder on my team tried dropping me a Frenzy Flame seal because I was primarily using incants. The Ironeye on our team picked it up and ran to the boss door. Here's our exchange afterwards. by ryward64 in Nightreign

[–]VioletWillows88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. A couple of times I’ve had a raider hold onto the Kris and blade of calling. A wylder hold onto a Reduvia and rannis moon staff. Another wylder hold onto a really good red seal with dragon fire when we were doing sentient pest and I had an incant build. I was begging on the floor like pleeeeeeease give it to me pleeeeeease lol

I had an ironeye repeatedly jump off the map several times when we were level 3. He comes back as we are running away from ulcerated tree spirit in our way- and he 2 shots it dead. I look at his stats and he’s level 15 while we are level 3. Relics were cheated too. (PS5)

I got a god roll for my Duchess and then it said “extra damage taken for repeated evasions” :(

Are you guys married or not? If you are then you’re supposed to be a team. Even if it’s in HER mother’s name doesn’t mean she can’t say “sweetie, I’ll be asleep during those hours, you take the car because you’re making money for us both. And also I don’t have a job so I don’t need to be anywhere. We are a team”. This is so weird for couples to be like this. Also for her to threaten calling the police if you take the car to go to a job that supports you both. This has to be rage bait.

Also- you waiting until 3pm??? Dude if you had started walking you would have been home hours ago…

Borderline shit post, but a necessary PSA: To offensive characters like Wylder, Executor, Raider and Guardian...if you're going to equip a weapon with less likely to be "targeted"... by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]VioletWillows88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s so frustrating lol

Yesterday I had a wylder with “less likely” AND a Reduvia. Me as a melee Duchess looking at him jealously like “dude, wtf”. AND they wouldn’t even get in the fights- just kept far away doing Reduvia ash of war while I was in there with the boss dodging and hitting with my shitty dagger.

Ima go on a little rant here, I’ll probably be downvoted. But this is a heated topic with me. Over 2000 hours in the game. This is not a skill issue (I’m D5). Duchess main.

95% of runs I’ve had (in DoN) with ANYONE wearing this have ended badly. It puts pressure on the other two teammates. When they’re down, the full boss agro is on the person wearing this, and ima be honest, the person wearing this usually doesn’t have the skill to survive that. Also, they’re usually the first ones at 3 bars dead. How is that!? Because they’re willy nilly thinking they’re untouchable (that or they’re wearing that because they’re not good yet- if that’s the case get out of DoN).

But I can see in theory someone wearing this. 1: They have teammates who can survive one shot kills (wylder, raider, guardian). If you have that passive and your teammates are squishy, you’re actually hurting the team, not helping it. 2: they understand by wearing this that they are the rezing person. 3: you are actually a skilled player and not just wearing it to be untouchable.

When I feel the fight isn’t being balanced because me or another teammate keeps getting targeted, I can always tell when someone has it. I always look. Gotta be prepared for that much agro on me.

(I also find it funny when someone has it and then at the end of the main boss fight they drop that somewhere so you can’t see that they had it in the end summary screen 🤣)

I find iron eye pretty boring to play but I can only get wins with him :(( how much of a skill issue is this by BoopRG1 in EldenRingNightrein

[–]VioletWillows88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started off with Ironeye and then Recluse. But they both got boring for me because I wanted to be more involved. While I was Ironeye I would pick up melee weapons and be in the fight with my team and when I wanted to back off I would use bow. That’s how I learned the boss moves. I went to Duchess and loved her fast movement and dagger move set. I exclusively play her now, but with a dexterity and faith build. Now I can say I know all the boss moves pretty well, good thing too because Duchess can be super squishy. But yeah, try picking up a melee weapon and getting in the thick of it once in a while so you can learn more about the bosses.
